Who was or is the best director?

Alfred Hitchcock was the best. I also like Roman Polanski, although his later movies are not great. I really like the work of Guillermo del Toro.

Who is the greatest director of all time?

Francis Ford Coppola, and Oliver Stone.....

Who is the best director of the Game of Thrones?

Undoubtedly, Miguel Sapochnik. He has directed few great episodes like- Hardhome (2015)- The Winds of Winter (2016)- Battle of the Bastards (2016)All these episodes have near to perfect 9.9 rating on IMDB. If he would have directed Beyond the Wall, which was the most anticipated episode of season 7, the episode wouldn’t be such a mess.

Who is the greatest director of all time?

Well, it depends on how you look at it! Let's look at Oscars. Which individual has won the most Oscars for Best Director? You've probably not heard of him - his name is John Ford and he was an American filmmaker during the Hollywood Golden Age. Orson Welles and Ingmar Bergman, Alfred Hitchcock and Akira Kurosawa were all huge during this time, and they were all very groundbreaking. Let's look at legacy and household names -  harder to measure. Hitchcock wins, hands down. Everybody knows the "Psycho" violin chord when Norman Bates kills Marion Crane in the shower. Nobody can forget "North by Northwest," "Vertigo," or Jessica Tandy's lame screaming in "The Birds." But Steven Spielberg is a close second. And he's won more Oscars than Hitchcock. Nobody will forget the girl in the red coat in "Schindler's List," or the Battle of Normandy in "Saving Private Ryan," both movies which earned him Oscars for Director. Others up here would include Stanley Kubrick, Woody Allen, Roman Polanski, the Coen Brothers, and Quentin Tarantino. Let's also not forget Kathryn Bigelow. Now, we'll look at money - easy. George Lucas and Spielberg are the frontrunners, with James Cameron following close behind. Francis Ford Coppola is also up here, along with Ron Howard and Robert Redford. Jerry Bruckheimer is also high up, but he's not nearly as acclaimed as the others. But what makes a director great? If it's a perfect portfolio, Spielberg is guilty of being a bit of a sellout with the 4th Indiana Jones, War of the Worlds, and AI. Cameron's a bit guilty with the Terminator franchise of doing the same, and Lucas has milked Star Wars more than an Iowa farmer's favorite cow. Peter Jackson and Clint Eastwood have also looked at money over substance. Actually, the directors with the best portfolios of retaining their visual flare while making money and winning awards include the Coen Brothers, David Fincher, Quentin Tarantino, Bryan Singer, and Darren Aronofsky. Polansk also makes the cut, and Woody Allen is the very best at keeping his vision while continuously being prolific, acclaimed, and making a dime. So, if I had to make a list of the top five, I would say: 1. Spielberg2. Hitchcock3. Woody Allen4. Quentin Tarantino 5. Coen Brothers

He works with some of the most talented and versatile actors of bollywood like Akshay Kumar,Anupam kher , Manoj bajpayee. They are the common faces for most of his movies.MS Dhoni’s manager Arun Pandey approached Neeraj Pandey for the biopic of MS Dhoni. Even Dhoni said in an interview that he want Neeraj Pandey to direct his biopic.Later Neeraj Pandey recruited a number of people for researching into Dhoni's background and his life events. Dhoni eventually became a consultant on the film.A Common man is an American-Srilankan film starring Ben Kingsley and Ben Cross, copied from his movie A Wednesday. His movies inspired me a lot and Bollywood needs more directors like him to compete with Hollywood.
