Who Is The Best Fighter In The Ufc

Who is the best MMA fighter?

When you talk about the best fighters in MMA there are a few names that are on pretty much everyones list, Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, Georges st Pierre and Fedor Emelianenko. There are 2 fighters that you can easily eliminate from this list:Anderson Silva. If Anderson Silva retired in 2012 he would probably be the biggest ever. He had a great run in MMA until then. Then he lost 2 fights in a row, he got caught using PED’s and lost 2 more fights. That kind of kills your legacy.Jon Jones. My personal opinion is Jon Jones fights very dirty, he is known to poke his opponents in the eyes, he uses dirty block kicks that serve only 1 goal (to injure your opponent). But i guess that’s a matter of opinion, and no ref really made an issue about that. Jon Jones however has been caught using PED’s and did some dubious stuff outside the ring. He got stripped of his title 3 times.so that leaves 2 fighters, Fedor and GSP.Georges st Pierre had a career without any real scandals (lubegate was a little one, but there has never been any proof). He took a 4 year break came back and beat the middleweight champion. There might have been a few judges decisions that where a bit controversial, but to be the champion you have to beat the champion and i guess that was not convincing enough.Fedor Emelianenko, this guy was dominant for 10 years. He fought the best fighters of that era, he stood with Cro Cop, he went to the ground with Nogueira. He made a mistake in the fight with Werdum and lost to Bigooft and Henderson (who both where using TRT, wich at the time was legally using PED’s). At that time he was past his prime, and later he fought some decent opponents that where also past their prime to keep a better record. Right now he is still active, but my best guess it’s mostly for the money. In the end if i had to pick one of these 2, i would give it to GSP. He lost 2 times and avenged both his losses. He has titles in 2 weight classes. He is a role model outside the ring and a great martial artist.

Who are the 10 best UFC fighters of all time?

This is just an opinion piece and I am sad to leave out fighters who were up there as well, so here are 10 of my picks, not necessarily in order of greatness:Jon Jones 23–1–0 lost no fighters except one by DQ, has defeated the best fighters of the light heavyweight divisionAndersen Silva 34–8–0 late to the UFC but defeated almost every middleweight until he started screwing aroundGeorge St Pierre 25–2–0 great welterweight, many years at the top as championBJ Penn 16–12–2 when he was young and fit, destroyed his competition including much bigger men like Matt HughesMatt Hughes 45–9–0 had a long, strong reign as champion and was one of the first men to incorporate great strength and great wrestling to crush his opponentsDaniel Cormier 19–2–0 beat everyone at light heavyweight, just had the misfortune of being at the same time as Jon Jones who in my opinion is that much better than all othersCain Valequez 14–2–0 best heavyweight around, too bad he was so injury proneDemetrious Johnson 27–2–1 Mighty mouse has beaten almost everyone in his weight classJose Aldo 26–3–0 long reigning almost invincible champ until he ran into Conor McGregorConor McGregor 21–3–0 It’s early, but he is a 2 division champion and very excitingHe is not in the UFC, but I have to mention Fedor Emelianenko who beat almost every heavyweight in MMA until the recent crop.I am not counting each person based on record alone, but by the competition they faced with extra weight given to more recent champions as the level of skill and competition has greatly increased over the last decade.

Who is the best UFC fighter of all time?

That's a tough one. When someone answers such questions, there is always a tinge of personal connection. The fighters who have affected them in some way or the other. So here is my “personal” list:Chuck Liddell - The very first mainstream UFC Fighter.GSP - The absolute brilliance of a fighter. A very rare mixture of technical and aggressive fighting style. (My personal favorite).Conor McGregor - The guy who took the UFC to whole new level. These fighters doesn't get the kind of salaries that they deserve. But this guy has upped thier purse, by his sheer marketing brilliance, by almost 200%.Jon Jones - Yes, his career is marred with controversies. But even after that he will still be there in many of the people's list. That says something about his talent. But it's not over yet. He is back, hopefully for a long long time.Anderson Silva - At his prime, I think he could have beaten anyone. His reach, out of nowhere, is second to none. He reached out to places (in terms of UFC's stamp on Non American soil) where only he, his fighting style could have.So there was my list. There are many I may have left out. But these are the guys who had a major impact on UFC and most importantly, me.Thank You for your time…Avinash Hebbar…

Does UFC have the best fighters in all of the MMA?

Yes, look at recent champs from other promotions he went to UFC. Eddie Alvarez, had a rough start, won the title, lost it in his next fight to McGregor. Will Brooks, cut from UFC. Hector Lombard, basically an exciting gate keeper. Justin Gaethe, 1-2 record in UFC. Marlon Moraes 2-1 record UFC.Look at former UFC fighters in other promotions. Rory McDonald, never won UFC title, won in Bellator. Lorenz Larkin 1-2 in Bellator. Point is there's good fighters outside of UFC, but most aren't the best. Michael Chandler and Ben Askren are the 2 who might have a chance. Chandler split with Alvarez and lost twice to Will Brooks. Askren has no standup but is a dominant wrestler, what happens when he fights St Pierre or Woodley who are great wrestlers, what's his plan B?

What makes Jon Jones the best fighter in the UFC?

After a year long suspension, Jon jones snorted coke and partied hard on the weekend before his match against Daniel cormier ( who at that point of time was at his physical peak defending his belt against the baddest fighters in the weight division). The Result ??? A shin to the face of DC and a belt ownership to Jon Jones.Mind you DC is no joke, he is widely regarded as one of the all greats in his weight division. If this doesn't give an example of what Jones is capable of. I don't know what else to say.

Man vs. Beast- Can the best UFC fighter win?

I would to watch a lion mangle some random dude in the Octagon....but as for a bull, easy...bullfighters stand in there with them, but as for a martial artist destroying bulls the kyukushin founder has been known to kill bulls.

Whos the best U.F.C fighter?

Anderson Silva no question. Knock out power and world class submissions.

Who is the best heavyweight fighter in UFC?

Currently (as of 19 Feb 2014), Cain Velasquez is the belt holder and he's defended it a few times. His cardio is inhuman and he has excellent wrestling. By virtue of holding the belt, I would say its Cain. However there is an argument to be made for Travis Browne. He has yet to fight Cain. After the number he did on Josh Barnett and Alister Ovareem, he should not be overlooked. With Daniel Cormier dropping to light heavyweight, it's really Travis Browne's division to take. I also think he's capable of beating JDS who is also clearly a premiere heavyweight having formerly owned the belt before losing twice to Cain.

Who is the best heavyweight UFC fighter?

That’s debatable as the favorite will vary person to person. Stipe Miocic is in amazing form and he certainly is the best right now.Other top heavyweights with great fan following may includeCain Velasquez (a complete fighter)Alaister Overreem (a former strikeforce champ, who wishes to win the top title in UFC)Jr Dos Santos (a gifted fighter, who can beat anyone on his day)Brock Lesnar (controversial yet inspiring and freakingly strong)Fabricio Werdum (very very inspiring and talented and def a world champ material)
