Who Is The Current Best Odi Batsmen

What would be the best current ODI XI?

Presuming that it is a current XI, here’s how my team would be:David Warner : a team should always open with a person whom the opposition fears to bowl, one such player is warner, any given day, currently he’s the most dreaded and explosive player.Hasim Amla : Kohli keeps piling recoreds and this man keeps breaking them, the only fact is age is not on his side or else he would threaten even the hardest records.Virat Kohli : He is a legend in the ODI format already, going as per stats he’s better than the GOD OF CRICKET in his current form.Joe Root : Second consistent man after Kohli has to be Joe Root he’s an England legend in the making.M S Dhoni (wk,c): The coolest man on earth, and one of the most successful captains in world cricket, there is almost no ICC Trophy this man has lifted, who else than him can lead the side.Ben Stokes : The best all-rounder in town at the moment, he has all qualities to become one of the best all rounders of all time.Shakib Al Hasan: He’s the most experienced all rounder currently, a bowling all-rounder mainly.Mitchell Starc: The most feared bowler right now, he has the pace he has the accuracy he has the talent, my best bowler right now.Mohammed Amir: The opening duo of Mitchell Starc and mohammed amir would do wonders in bowler friendly conditions, the pace of starc and swing of amir is a great sight to watch and a horror for the batsman.Trent Boult: One of the most economical bowlers who has excellent line and length.Imran Tahir: The agressive wicket taking bowler, Imran Tahir is slowly creeping up the ranks. So this is how my best current XI would like, the two notable legends missing out here are Kane willianson and AB Devilliers, too hard to accomodate all the legends in one squad.

Who is the best ODI batsman?

Sir Vivian Richards , I will consider him as the best ODI batsman . Many may not accept it but he is the best . Many will say names like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli , and 360 degree player Abraham Benjamin Devillers . But in my view they will come after him .( Image source : Google images )Here are his ODI stats ,( Image source : HowSTAT! The Cricket Statisticians )See he played 187 Matches and scored 6721 Runs at an Average 47 . And most catching thing is his strike rate 90.20 which says it all how he played at that time . Remember at that time the they used to have 60 overs per side in ODI'S unlike now we have 50 overs per side . So, they used to play very slowly .Fun fact : Sunil Gavaskar has played with a strike rate 62.57 in ODI'S ;-)I am not talking down on Sunil Gavaskar I am just talking about verocity of Vivian Richards .He played most of the matches with Red ball being used in ODI'S as well . It's a know fact Red ball swings more than the white ball . He played Red ball pretty well . In those days the pitches used to offer good support for bowlers as well . Now most of the pitches have become batsmen friendly wickets . We have seen how easily teams have 300 plus in the last 2015 World Cup .( Image source : HowSTAT! The Cricket Statisticians )His away record is good than at home . Even this is rare nowadays . He played Helmet less in most of the Matches . Playing helmet less and batting with such ferocity really need lot of guts .Let me show you one of the reasons run scoring had become easy now( Image source : Google images )That is the difference between the bats ones played with and nowadays batsmen are playing with . Even bat edges are carrying away to six . Grounds size is also decreased . Having such High Average and Strike rate at that time is certainly not normal like now .He has a strike rate 86.07 in Test matches and average 50.02 , such a strike rate is very rare nowadays as well .He is surely the best ODI batsman .

Who is the current best batsman in the world?

The 3 people who qualify for the tag of “Best Batsman”(Overall) in my opinion are:Hashim Amla: He has been a regular performer for the South African side and a prolific run getter. The way he is carrying the responsibilities in batting plus the attractiveness of his game, he is surely among the best. As for me he is close at No.3.AB De Villers: He along with Hashim Amla, has kept up the tempo of his National Side. His ability to adapt in all the 3 formats and also his variation from cricketing strokes to the unorthodox ones is marvelous. Add to that, his fitness and athleticism is a great boon for SA. As for me he is a close Second i.e. No.2.Virat Kohli: He is playing all sorts of roles in the Indian Batting, to the extent of making matches win without or with least support. The temperament that he carries in his batting coupled with a wide range of strokeplay as well as an intelligent mind and calculated risk taking ability makes him the No. 1 in my opinion.Thank You!!
