Who Is The Hero Who Conquered The Minator And Were There Groups Fighitng For The Right To Defeat

How did the myths contribute to Greek society, culture, and history?

In a bad way... really..

But not in the beginning...

Ulysses and other have contributed to rise the will to discover and conquest other lands...

Later on...

Greeks thought they were invincible!... so strong they was...

And finally...

Where is the so big Empire of Greece?

Lays down under the time run out....

This is the way humanity uses to be...

Guess I gave a help with a point to follow in your essay.....

Captain america compared to Theseus?

You must write an essay comparing Captain America and Theseus, two of my least favorite people? What a pity. Anyways, because I have an extensive knowledge on both "heroes", I believe I can help you. You see, I work against Captain America on a day to day basis- being the world's most badass supervillain is a tiring job. It requires me to see many of the people (AKA The Avengers) more so than I would like.

Let's start with the basics.

First, Captain America and Theseus are both heroes, obviously. They work for the greater good. They have dedicated their lives to ensuring the safety and well being of the mortals around them. Captain America- (may we call him Steve?)- Steve was a soldier in the World War Two era. However, before that, he was only a weakling, though he was very determined to help the war effort. He was chosen to become the first super-soldier, and promised to return home victorious. Theseus is much the same. The Greek hero came from a small city in Ancient Greece. When he was chosen, he was determined to come back home alive to his father. By doing so, he killed the Minotaur and effectively cleared the way for future generations so they wouldn't have to suffer the fate of going into the Labyrinth.

They were both courageous, smart, brave, blah, blah, blah. In all honesty, I am glad that Theseus is long dead, and I hope Steve is close to being the same. Do you know how tiresome fighting the patriotic idiot grows to be? His tactics never change. I live a depressing life, in which I spend my days destroying the world while the Avengers constantly attempt to thwart me.

Ah, well. The god of mischief will always win in the end. You cannot outsmart me.

What are some character traits of hera the greek goddess?

vindictive and jealous. From what I have read in the mythologies she spent most of her time putting curses and casting nasty spells on the women Zeus seduced (Her hubby Zeus was a randy old goat of a God and seduced many young women) I would suggest reading Bullfinches Mythology.

The Greek Goddess: Hera?

the wife and older sister of Zeus. Her chief function was as goddess of marriage.

There has been considerable scholarship, reaching back to Bachofen, about the possibility that Hera was originally the goddess of a matriarchal people, presumably inhabiting Greece before the Hellenes. In this view, her activity as goddess of marriage established the patriarchal bond of her own subordination: her resistance to the conquests of Zeus is rendered as Hera's "jealousy", the main theme of literary anecdotes that undercut her ancient cult

Is Darwan Right?

It is impossible to regress that far back, but humans are born with attavistic proto-ancestral traits from time to time. There are humans with full body hair (confirmed). There are humans born with tails (confirmed). Supposedly there have even been a rare case or two of humans being born with horns.

You're not going to find an actual monkey born from human parents, but there may be a hint of truth to mythical beings like Hanuman or the Minotaur.

To answer your original question though, contemporary biologists seem to agree that Darwin was RIGHT about variation, selection, and inheritance - the mechanism of how evolution works. Darwin, however, was WRONG about one thing: He believed life evolved slowly, gradually, at a steady pace. Life rather evolves in short sporadic bursts.

How long was the battle of troy?

Its not that no-one cares...its just that until recent archaeological finds, the battle was thought to be more fiction than truth. Homer wrote about it in the Iliad long after it was fought.
The war was fought for ten years. "The first nine years of the war consisted of both war in Troy and war against the neighboring regions."
The two sources below are reliable...I promise!

What was the most memorable death you ever had a D&D character go through?

For me it has to be Aust Nailo, a woodelf barbarian. Having made a pact with Tiamat in order to return to the land of the living, he had become enraged (as in the deathless frenzy berserk rage) while fighting himself and duplicates of his party from a mirror of opposition. As the party defeated or were defeated by the opposites, he managed to slay almost everyone except for the last surviving member of his party, another woodelf from his tribe. As the other player desperately begged him to come out of his rage, he swung his great sword bellowing "I keep my bargains!" and hew the valiant cleric in twain. His rage then ended dropping him to negative hit points. It was a complete TPK orchestrated by the players in the end.The bargain had been between Aust and Tiamat, in return for his chance at vengeance he would deliver the rest of the party by death to her. He did so.

Who's the most powerful of the children of the Big Three in the Percy Jackson books?

So I’ma do all the characters that were ‘main’ or original ( so not Heracles or Perseus).Percy:-Controls water based things-Best swordsman of 300 (was it?)-Beat Ares at a young age-Loyal (could work to his advantage or disadvantage)-hurricanes-Lots of experience-Blackjack/other equestrians-Water animals (bite him Sharky! Go on! Do it!)-The more powerful a water attack is, the more tired he getsThalia:-hunter of Artemis-Great with a bow and arrow-Lighting-Aegis-Lots of pent-up aggression (Death’s lack of mouth lead to depression. And he’s got a lot of pent-up aggression, demons take their mouths for granted, stab him in the chest switch to two-handed; eat this with yo mouth YA FREAKIN DEMON. I’m sorry, Tobuscuc Darksiders2 Literal Trailer)-PridefulNico:-SKELETONS!!-The Field of Asphodel thingy-Pretty good with a sword (not as good as Percy, Jason and I would dare say, Thalia)-Looks pretty scary-Creeps out people-Shadow travel-Powers take a lot out of himJason:-Lightning-Can fly-A coin that turns into spear and sword-Pre skilled with both the sword and the spear-Roman fighting style, better with other people, but still pretty good on his ownBianca:-hunter of Artemis-Archery-There wasn’t much on Bianca really.I’m going to have 3 categories, long range, hand to hand/close range and powers.Long range I’d say, Thalia. It’s a no-brainer, She’s deadly with a bow and most likely other long ranged weapons. The second I would give to either Percy or Jason. Both are skilled at fighting, but that being said, Jason’s better with other people because of ROMAN TRAINING!So I’d probably give this to Percy, 7/10 or morePowers is hard. I’d rule out Jason and Thalia, more because Percy has been to withstand lightning and wind attacks. Nico and Percy are reallyyyy powerful when it comes to powers. I’d probably give it a tie to Percy and Nico. Both are terrifying once you think about it
