I love the work of Salvador Dali and Tim Burton. Anything that is dark and twisted. That gives you a chill. Any other artists similar to these? Anything beautiful.

Who is your favorite song artist and what is your favorite song by them?

“For a Dancer” - Jackson Browne. I don’t know why there is such a strong connection between songwriters who adore the human form in motion and dancers who appreciate the evocative qualities of a song but this song is Exhibit A. Any dancer, even those who cannot hold a pitch, will blush at the depth of this tribute to a lovely person well known by this consummate singer/songwriter of my generation. The way the melody supports the lyric with a swaying rhythm is just mesmerizing. The melancholic low notes of Jackson’s voice in this song create a sense that Quasimodo himself, watching in rapture from the side of a breathless stage, has taken pen to paper and written a love note to a perfectly proportioned woman that lifts and leaps her body into his heart. All men are not worthy of such creatures. It creates a timeless feeling in the male species not unlike what Helen of Troy must have wrought in ancient Greece. It’s that good a song.I have never seen a music video of this track and I never want to because my imagination has been decorating this piece of music for over 30 years. I have always dreamt that the woman of my dreams would be touched by the honesty of one of my songs written for and about her. Jackson sings for Everyman who has ever considered the power of song to be their way of competing with all other forms of earthly male power (strength, athleticism, height, money) to attract beautiful women. If Darryl Hannah is his fitting victory, then so be it.

What is your favorite fine artist?

At the moment probably Andy Goldsworthy. Egon Schiele, Isamu Noguchi, Ralph Meatyard, Andrew Wyeth, just about everyone connected with Dada. The Gutai group.

I could go on forever really.

What is your favorite music, and who is your favorite artist?

Well :DThe Beatles - I’m totally an original Beatle maniac.Led Zeppelin - saw them in concert - slept outside the venue to get the tickets. Have seen Robert Plant in concert 5 times.Big Bang - WHOA - didn’t see that coming I expect! Yep, I love KPop! These guys are true rock stars, amazing talents and I would DEARLY love to go to one of their concerts. I have gone to several KPop concerts here in the US - & KCon NY (yep, saw BTS - yep they were great :D)Emerald Rose - no longer together - a great Pagan group that played lots of Celtic inspired songs and showed up yearly at DragonCon. Tina Turner/Aretha Franklin - I’m torn so they tied. I saw Ms Turner do her thing back in the early 70s when she was still performing w/Ike. Respect, Aretha’s anthem, just is my song. Ravel :D Rachmaninoff. Mozart. Debussy. Puccini. I really love a lot of classical music. My fav is Shaharizade by Rimsky-Korsakov.I also love MoTown (why I love KPop)There’s tons of music I love - all kinds - these are my TOP picks :d

Who's your favorite artist of any type?

Art is imaginative, it can help us infuse creativity in everyday things (demanded that we keep our senses alive and alert!). An artist in France recently got touched with the ‘artistic light’ and created an illustrative series where he paints the ‘Missing Parts’ for objects and things that he finds in his surroundings. The artist who goes by the name Lois Low says: “A few years ago, I started drawing on paper, using different tools such as pencils or Rotring pens. At first, it was cool but I wanted to go further. I decided to go out of my usual workplace and find something new. I played with lines and shapes, drew different things surrounding me and focused on giving reality a new sense. Honestly, it was a revelation! I must admit that there was much work to do but I really enjoyed it. Sometimes I visit places and different things or objects give me the idea of the drawing, sometimes I draw something and then decide to combine with a particular place or object.”Here are some of the best works of this creative man:-1).
