Who Is Your Favorite Marvel Character And Why

Favorite marvel character and why?

I also love Nightcrawler, but my favorite is Magneto. I could always relate very well to him. He ultimately just wants to be left alone to live his life, but he never can; because he can't stand by and watch his fellow mutants cut down simply for existing. He makes bad choices about how to go about things, but his heart is usually in the right place. Despite being depicted as a power hungry megalomaniac that cares nothing for anyone but himself in films and television, in comics, he always struck me as a grandfatherly figure who just wants to protect his family (mutants).

You got the right answer in the question. Deadpool forever. Give us a movie.

Who is your favorite Marvel and DC character?

My favorite DC Character, hands down, is Superman. In truth, if DC didn’t have Superman, I wouldn’t even be that interested. I had the Justice League Heroes game, for Superman, and loved the part where he says “I’m going to kick Darkseid’s ass into orbit!” Superman said ass! DERP!Of course, Darkseid quenched Superman’s thirst by using the water in his knee and a foot colonoscopy, but that’s besides the point. But as a baby, my sisters showed me Return of the Jedi, and I loved all the monsters and aliens. When I learned Superman was a alien, I liked him, but he looked boring to me. As a alien, I always felt he should look like he came from Krypton.Aliens from a high gravity planet concept art.Superman should look not just alien, but like hes from a world of very high gravity.^ This one especially ^There was a comic that tossed an idea that all Kryptonians looked alien, but he was given radical surgery as a baby so the humans wouldn’t kill him. So, he looks human, where someone like Supergirl, or his father would appear like something above. And that’s his people. But that’s me, I wanted a alien Superman. But regardless, looking alien or not, Superman is my favorite DC character. My favorite Marvel character is The Hulk. Always was, still is. The Hulk is a huge, angry green monster that can throw a ocean liner like a bath toy. That’s just awesome. Not to mention, Hulk held this up for awhile.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE MARVEL CHARACTER?

Who is your favorite Marvel Comics character and why?

That’s actually pretty easy. The Punisher, aka Frank Castle.Ironically I consider him my favorite because he provides an interesting foil to my favorite DC Comics character, Batman. Now, would I consider Frank to be a “good man”? No, frankly I wouldn’t, but rather I would consider him a flawed man struggling to grapple with everything that has happened to him in his life, and resorts to using his set of specialized skills to channel his emotions into something concrete and arguably constructive. He also provides a view into one of the core morals that seems to almost never get tested enough; whether it is ever justified to kill, especially if the victim is a villain with the bodies of hundreds, thousands, possibly tens of thousands on their hands. At least in Marvel, the majority of them have “Will not kill under any circumstances” policy. It’s a black and white line that the overwhelming majority of the time is never crossed. The Punisher forces them to respond to this policy in a stark and psychologically grueling way.Is killing ever justified? Is killing a major villain who already admits to having killed innocents and intending to kill even more innocents justifiable? And if need be, does that extend to annihilating a villians entire criminal enterprise and assets to make sure they are unable to continue hurting others?Frankly (pun not intended), it is an interesting divergence to see the Punisher have a reverse view of most other major “good guys” in the Marvel franchise, and is willing to cross lines and societal norms that force others to confront the fact that even if his methods are morally questionable, even outright illegal or in some cases wrong, what they can’t argue is that he does stop criminals, in most cases in a permanent fashion.I will also admit my interest in him was renewed by the Netflix series Daredevil and The Punisher. Both provided insights into Frank Castle as a man, what motivates him, what haunts him, his strengths, his flaws, and expanding his character to being far more than just a ruthless gunman that guns down anyone he considers to be criminal.
