Who Knows The Best Flat Screen Tv

For a LED flat screen TV, What is the best brand?

My boyfriend and I are buying a flat screen TV, he showed me this "40"inch flat screen with 1080p, the brand is: Westinghouse. Its a good price for $288.00. I'm very particular when it comes to certain brands; however, I will like to know which one is a better brand for a LED flat screen TV? I will appreciate any feedback.

How do I know if my flat screen TV had a camera?

Of course, all new TVs have a camera built in at the bottom bezel, it is actually quit obvious if you look close. If you shine a light at it it will reflect red.Nothing bad, but a career as a professional spy or criminal, taking various drugs containing speed or Amphetamine, or Big Brother paranoia are the only reason to think your TV would come with a camera secretly built in.Your TV does not contain a camera, it would be too easy with so many TVs for someone not to find it and have physical proof. If this came out, the manufacturer would be ruined. Amazon and smart home products DO hear and record your voice and conversations because that is how they work, what you payed for and have basically agreed to for it to work.I do not know of any commercially available TV, not Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL, Vizio, RCA, Element, Sharp, Insignia, Toshiba or any other brand that has or offers a camera on any TV they sell. Many Laptop computers or Monitors that are commonly used with computers sometimes have cameras built in, because some people like to Vlog or face-chat using their computers. Again, because that is how they work, what you payed for and basically agreed to for the convience.

What is the best flat screen TV for the home?

Loaded question but here’s a few questions to answer to pick the best TV for your home:How big do you want the screen to be?Where will you be putting it in your house? How well controlled is the light where you will be watching? What kind of programming will you watch?Flat panels come in a multitude of sizes, and how big you go depends on how much you’re willing to spend. Location will dictate what kind of TV you buy, as will light control. People rave about OLED, and it is gorgeous, but it’s also prone to burn-in, so don’t leave it on a news network for extended periods of time, or you’ll start seeing shadows where the news tickers appear. QLED is nice, but almost as expensive as OLED. If you want a big screen without paying an arm and a leg, and have good lighting control in your chosen room it’s worth checking out the new ultra-short throw LED and laser projectors, which can sit a foot or so from the wall and throw up a 100” screen, and there are new screen technologies like Canon’s Carbon Black that can give you close to OLED contrast levels coming very soon. It’s an exciting time.

Do you know the BEST ways to earthquake-proof my flat screen tv?

I would get a sturdy wall mount. If your walls come down you'll have much more to worry about then a broken TV.

Goodluck!

What should i use to clean flat screen TV?

You might consider using the Search tool above for a common question like that. See the link for the safe, effective way to clean your LCD screen (which is what your "LED" TV has).

How do you safely clean a flat screen TV?

First, some things NOT to do when cleaning an LCD screen. Don't use windex, or any other household cleaner. Most of these contain alcohol or ammonia, which can discolor or damage the screen. New TV sets have plastic screens, not glass. Water (like a damp cloth) isn't dangerous to your TV, but will leave streaks and water spots.Don't use paper towels either. They are coarse and will scratch your screen. There are several brands of screen cleaner solutions and cloths out there that are of good quality. If you clean your screen weekly or more often, a microfiber cloth is sufficient. If less often, or you live in a high dust environment, you'll want some solution. Some are also anti-static, which repels dust as well as cleans the screen. When actually cleaning the screen, turn the TV off, and spray the solution on your cloth and wipe the screen in wide, gentle motions. Use more solution if needed. When done, look at the surface from an angle to ensure you haven't left streaks or missed any spots. Now you know how to clean your screen like a pro!

What are some tips for buying a first flat screen TV?

Wait, they always get cheaper.Other than screen quality, I'd look at what you are looking to watch / use it for. I've had a Sony, LG and Samsung flatscreen (each half the price and bigger than the last) and I prefer the Samsung because it not only has the smart TV features but masses of connections / ports at the back. This profusion of ports (HDMI, USB, Satellite, etc.) means that we've almost stopped watching broadcast TV as we've got a Fire stick, Apple TV, Blueray, hard drive and wifi hooked up to the TV as well as FreeSat and a couple of games consoles.
