So I'm really hoping someone can help me out. I'm looking for the perfect wedding dress. I've been searching the internet for something sleek, kind of sexy but still classy. I'm tall and slim and would love to show off my figure a little without looking....skanky lol. I don't have an incredibly large budget, I'd like to stay under $500. My ideal looks are inbal dror and berta. Obviously WAY over my budget so I'm hoping some people on here know where I can find a cheaper dress with the same feel as those designers. Thank you!

What is the cheapest option for alcohol at my Bali wedding?
I am getting married in Bali next year, and on a very tight budget. For the reception we are having the venue's standard free flow alcohol package (bintang, red/white wine, soft drinks and juices) and they said we can BYO for $10 per bottle, and can include spirits and bubbly. So I was going to get it all from duty free at Bali airport, but I heard they only let you bring 1 liter per person. No big deal, I'll ask some guests to get some and I'll pay them back. Now I am wondering if it's worth buying it all from a store in Bali to avoid this issue with customs and bothering my guests..? But I heard the wine in Bali is expensive and the selection is bad (I don't know if that's true) I expect around 25 drinkers so I thought 3x 1L bottles of spirits (maybe vodka, whiskey and midori?) and 5 or 6 bottles of nice bubbly for the toast (prefer Australian sparkling wine) maybe $40 per bottle? I'm not fussy, I just want my guests to have something half decent, at least for the toast. If anyone out there knows the cheapest option I would be forever grateful!
Is it cheap to have a semi open bar at a wedding reception?
i was thinking about paying for 2 or 3 drinks for all my guests,and if they want more than 3 drinks they would have to pay for it themselves. is that being cheap, should i just have a fully open bar? thanks in advance!

I would assume that the person who gave me a tacky, cheap wedding present did not perceive their gift as such. Tacky and cheap are, after all, in the eye of the beholder. Would I give them something similar? No. I am under no obligation to return what a perceive as an inappropriate gesture with another inappropriate behavior. I am, actually, to behave or act appropriately and not lower my standards.

Is $30 enough to put in a card for a wedding gift?
Okay, folks...the whole thing about "covering the cost of your plate" is complete bullshit. 100% pure bullshit. Think about this logically for a second. A) How do you even know how much the couple spent on your plate, unless they are running around bragging about it? B) It was the couple's choice to spend as much as they did, why should you have to help them recover costs by giving an extravagant gift? C) GIFTS. ARE. NOT. MANDATORY! If $30 is what you can afford, that's fine. Even if all you could afford is a card with some well wishes, that would be fine as well.
How much are wedding cakes from Safeway?
I'm not sure about safeway but here is my tip. Don't always be fooled into thinking you will get the best price by getting a grocery store cake. A friend of mine got a 3 layer cake from a Raley's for $325 she had maybe 50 people at her wedding the cake was way too large for her guest count. anyways the cake was horribly done. It did not have any decorations just some fake leafs sprinkled around since it was a fall wedding. Now i got my cake a very nice bakery. 3 tier feeds 100 people each layer a different flavor, they have really good cake. beautifully decorated and it is costing $300. including delivery fee. They also have the option to add a sheet cake up to a week before the wedding if we end up needing it. The sheet cake to feed 25 to 30 people is an additional $25. So in conclusion with a little research you can find a better cake at a nice bakery for the same if not cheaper price as the grocery store. Now if you like Safeway cakes go for it! lol If costco made wedding cakes i would have gotten mine there, i love their cakes lol.
