Why should I (or anyone else) care about Kim Kardashian?
She is a zero. Talentless, vapid, stupid. I am sorry to say that I live in her neighborhood of Calabasas, California and see her often in public. What is important about her and her family is that these are the most admired people in the world today in the eyes of young women. THAT is why you should care. Your girlfriend wants to be like her and wants her life. Rich, spoiled, stupid, doesn’t seem to work, shops all day long, jetting to Paris for no reason, married to a rich black musician who she pushes around, etc. Throwing tantrums and crying 24/7. THIS is the lesson - think about it…
Why does Kim Kardashian get so much media coverage?
If I may, I would phrase the question like this:"Why are so many people so interested in Kim Kardashian?"Because if people weren't interested in the Kardashians, the press coverage would soon dry out. Now, one can argue that the hype is created by the media, thus becoming a chicken-or-the-egg fallacy in itself. Still, without the traction of public interest, the press coverage would soon cease.Here's my theory:Human beings have a tendency to seek archetypical characters in their surroundings. Since we don't live in villages anymore, our social circles are replaced with celebrities to a large extent.And one of these archetypes is the 'scandal beauty'. We simply need this archetype to exist in our lives.My point is this:If there wasn't a 'Kim Kardashian' getting all the scandal beauty press coverage, she would be replaced by someone else within that archetype. Now, what makes Kim Kardashian unique is being prominent in a time of click-driven social media — and the fact that she (and her family) is actively engineering word-of-mouth to make sure she stays top of mind in her archetype.
Why does the media give so much attention to Kim Kardasian?
The world might have more pressing issues than watching someone who has done nothing but that’s not to say the world does not gravitate towards glamour.Sometimes I always wonder why Kim Kardashian and her family get more media attention than the brutal and bloody war in Syria.But I guess that is what the world has come to.The media are obsessed with all that glitters right now and you can be sure that Kim Kardashian and her family does glitter.I can’t blame the media thou, they live through us(the public)…..they have pulled up lots of stats on their network and it’s obvious this is what we tune in to the most.That is why they keep giving us more and more of what we like and enjoy.The Kardashians reality TV show is into its 12th season after 9 years of the show debuting on E! network and I am pretty sure it’s going to continue-till when you ask me-I don’t know,you would have to ask the show producers.But I am guessing we might get to see Kim Kardashian hit menopause on that show-it’s certainly possible,I wouldn’t put it past them.Now Kim Kardashian had a sex tape with Ray J-that could made her famous a little bit but tons of people had sex tape-Paris Hilton included but apparently she’s not as popular,not anymore,LOL. So definitely it isn’t the sex tape that is getting her so much media attention.Perhaps it could be because she married Kanye West…a famous rapper-she was very famous way before she met Kanye West.It’s definitely not that!I would have to say she still garners so much media attention because of her family’s reality TV show,when the show started-I will have to say she was the drama queen of the show, the one people really knew among her siblings.But along the years each character on the show have brought their own personal drama to the fore-from Scott Disick and Kourtney to Caitlyn Jenner to the Jenner sisters.Even Khloe sometimes has pitched in with her divorce from Lamar Odom.If it was left to Kim to carry the whole show based on her drama alone, the show would definitely tank so fast, So as long as the show is still on Kim Kardashian will still be quite popular.If the show is cancelled, she will still be popular but not quite as much.Truth be told she can’t act,sing or even dance.The woman has got no talent, none whatsoever.She is just famous for being famous
Is bad publicity around Kanye's beef with Taylor Swift and $53m debt going to hurt Kim Kardashian's brand?
With celebrities, any publicity is a good for them. Negative or otherwise.Kanya west is in a way in a survival phase. He is taking advantage of whatever is left of his controversies and will use them to a maximum benefit.When he first interrupted Taylor Swift during her award reception, he was oblivious to the repercussions to his brand image. He supposedly apologized to his behavior. When he used Taylor swift in his explicit lyrics and went to an extent of claiming that his earlier controversy put Taylor Swift on the map, it is almost safe to assume that Kanya West is desperate and his earlier apology was not sincere.Kardashian build her brand on her own. She likely has back up plans to counter in time. There was an instance she went to an extend of releasing her brand image flavored emote - icons, which are not popular yet. She will do whatever will keep her making money.If Kim Kardashian's brand will be affected in anyway negatively, she will likely pull the plug and leave him.Sometimes, if you can't help yourself, even a rich spouse can't help improve the situation.Celebrities are not immune from this.
