Who Should I Start As My Wr2

Should I start AJ Green or Boldin?

AJ Green (Questionable) vs Cle and Boldin (healthy) is playing the 49ers

I kind of need to know, Im leaning towards starting Boldin because he is healthy, but idk what to do

My Current Team:
Carson Palmer
Frank Gore
Maurice Jones-Drew
Demarco Murray (W/R)
Aquan Boldin (WR2)
Laurent Robinson
Bandon Pettigrew
Texans D/ST
Mason Crosby
BENCH
Ben Roethlisberger
Jon Stewart
Eric Decker
AJ Green (Questionable)
DeSean Jackson (Questionable)
Damian Williams
Cowboys D/ST

Who would you start as WR2 and FLEX?

I was initially confident with my original decision, but I'm projected to lose by double digits. I usually don't value projections as much, but I'm tied for first place in my division and am playing a divisional opponent.

The options I have for both slots are Hakeem Nicks, Randall Cobb, Antonio Brown, and Stevan Ridley.

Short cases for each player:

Hakeem Nicks (@ Dal) - Good history going against the Cowboys. Is as healthy as he's been in a while; says he has his explosiveness back.

Randall Cobb (vs Jac) - Is on the most pass-happy team in the NFL. Jennings is still out and Nelson is unlikely to play. Has a good match up. Highly admired by Rodgers; Rodgers said Cobb will be a star. Can get some rushing yards even though he's a WR.

Stevan Ridley (@Stl) - Has been hit or miss but when he hits it's a home run. Playing against a defense who's been pretty good against the run recently. Splits carries but will still likely get a fair amount.

Antonio Brown (vs Wsh) - Playing the worst rated pass defense in the league. Gets a good amount of receptions and yards but seems allergic to the red zone (only 1 TD this season). There's a chance of rain where he plays.

So taking everything into consideration, which 2 would you start in a crucial game?

Starting your defense against your WR?

I have nothing against the St. Louis D, but pick up the Miami D while you can! Last week may have been a bit fluky, but this is a much better D than they get credit for. Cameron Wake was on top of the league last week and he should continue to dominate against the Bills and their questionable offense this week.

Should I start Eric Decker, Larry Fitzgerald, or Marvin Jones at WR2? Why?

It's always a good idea to remind people of matchups. That's all that matters with most players.

Anyway, I like Marvin Jones in this one. The Indy defense is a trainwreck right now and Marvin has had a terrific preseason. He'll probably be tested less in this game than his dress rehearsal and team scrimmages! He and Stafford have quickly developed a very good chemistry.

In non-PPR scoring, I might be more tempted to start Decker, but even without Burfict, this is a much tougher defense. On Fitz, I'd wait a bit to see how he's used this year.

Who should I start in week 2? Steve Smith or Cecil Shorts?

Definitely Smith. He is Cam Newton's top target and it is a good matchup.

Should I start Eric Decker or Mike Wallace? NON PPR?

wow dude you couldnt have asked a tougher question, I have them both also, ppr league,,,Wallace is proven to be a solid deep threat but the hold out?? Manning and Decker are new??
I agree with the others to a point, However, Steeler D is very good against the pass, what Manning and Decker did in the pre season was pretty much just against 2nd stringers. Mike Wallace does not have to be up on the play book 100% he's a one trick pony, but that one trick is pure speed, the real question with him is if he has pissed off the Steelers brass enough that they.ll send a message to him in game one, which would screw you, and me but I dont think they will, the Steeler brass and Ben want to win and wallace is a huge part of that.... in a non ppr league for sure go with Wallace against the Denver D The Steeler Defence will be very stout against the pass and will double team Decker if required, I like him alot but route runners like him cant get away from the double team from a good D, speed leaves them behind....... go with Wallace

Oh boy, is this ever a loaded question!  :D OK, for kicks and giggles... (QB) Steve Young - He was an excellent scrambler and he had the arm to make every throw needed in the NFL. (WR) Jerry Rice - With today's pro-receiver rules, he would break his own records... and likely, everyone else's. (DE) Leroy Selmon - The guy was unstoppable. I saw him being blocked by two linemen and a RB, and he still sacked the QB.(LB) Lawrence Taylor - With him and Leroy on the line, teams would have to figure out how to hike directly to a receiver.(RCB/LCB/Free Safety/Strong Safety) Ronnie Lott - You just have to love a guy who put up the numbers he did, and played harder than anyone else. He made the Pro Bowl ten times, at three different positions. If you want to know how tough he was... Top Ten Gutsiest Performances: Ronnie Lott .Besides being one of the best, at their position, these were all players who were excellent role models for young players who needed to learn what it takes to be a difference maker. You didn't ask, Harry, but I am going to throw in the head coach that I would want.(HC) William Ernest 'Bill' Walsh - No need for explanation. There have been many great head coaches, through the years, but none (IMO) better. Thanks for asking, Harry. These are fun kinds of questions, because no one is right or wrong. I look forward to seeing others choices.

No! Don’t you dare do that. I hope you were joking. While Winston sat out the first few games of the season, everyone was busy selling him down the river as a player that just didn’t have the right stuff and so on. While I am not sold that he is that bad, when ‘the talk’ is swirling, and your team’s backup quarterback is having phrases coined for his high quality of play, your season might not turn out to be a fantasy windfall. Wentz, on the other hand seems to be making good progress on his return from injury and lord knows he’ll be forced to sling it with Ajayi out. Wentz would seem the better choice to me, all things considered…Good luck.

I wouldn’t trade aWR2 for a QB2. Unless you have 2 subpar options from your draft, you should be fine running with your current QB.However, Wentz is more than a QB2, he’s a low to mid range QB1, PLUS he just got a shiny new toy in Golden Tate (and as a bonus the entire RB room is in the hospital ward right now, so volume based production is a thing). So he’s got top 10 upside. If he’s better than your starter, then go for the trade if you have enough depth at wideout. He’s already had his bye so you don’t have to worry about covering him aside from bad matchups and injury. Plus, Cooper had a solid day scoring wise in his debut, so selling high is a fine idea.

Keller.  He's Sanchez' primary target and much more effective than Witten because he's more athletic and the NYJ running attack is so good.
