2013 Fantasy Football Season: Week 2: Who would you start? Matt Ryan or Eli Manning?
Ryan is definitely the safe pick... But Champ Bailey is hurt, Shaun Phillips is the Broncos' only pass rush, Phillips was only effective after the Ravens' starting right tackle Michael Oher got hurt, and the Ravens have no receivers at the caliber of Cruz, Nicks, and possibly even Randle and Myers (Torrey Smith is just a straight line burner, Jacoby Jones got hurt, and Dallas Clark forgot how to catch). Furthermore, the Broncos lost their starting middle linebacker on that stupid play where their outside linebacker dropped the ball on the one yard line on the interception. And the Broncos are a west-ish team playing on the road on the east coast.Plus even if the Broncos jump out to a lead, Eli will be chucking it, especially with Wilson fumbling and unreliable.That middle linebacker sets their defensive line and receives the play calls from the sideline. Watch this closely, along with the health of Champ Bailey...I sense a shoot out... If Ryan is the safe pick, Eli is high-risk/high-reward
