Who The Artist That Sings Middle Age Crazy

What is middle age crazy?

An extreme form of mid-life crisis, this can be either good or bad depending on your personality, and situation.Carl Jung suggests that one should take this time to examine their lives to make better decisions, and improve themselves.

Middle Ages Vs. Renaissance?

religion: basically the middle ages was crazy about the Church and everyone thought that they had to suffer in order to have the heavenly life that they would gain later when they died. in the renaissance they began humanism, a different idea that spread and it emphasized on the achievement an individualist can have. so then they learned that they didnt have to torture themselves in order to have a good afterlife

travel: people thought that the trade routes were dangerous in the middle ages and people were warned of bandits and thieves. in the renaissance marco polo went to China and brought back tales of "100 carts of raw silk" and stuff like that and encouraged people to trade themselves.

people: like what do you want? the people from each time or like humanism? humanism was the idea of emphasis on the human being, it taught people about the potential of achieving all they can. people included leonardo da vinci, raphael, and michelangelo.

new ideas: better trading, perspective art instead of flat things. were not as religious and weakened the church.

economy: many patrons supported the arts by funding artists to paint and beautify the cities to show their pride.

Were the Middle Ages really as gruesome as commonly portrayed to be?

In "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", King Arthur passes a group of peasants.Peasant 1: There goes the King!Peasant 2: How do you know that he's the king?Peasant 1: He's the only one round here who isn't covered in shit. The old description of life in the Middle Ages was 'Nasty, brutal and short'.True mortality rates were high and there was no known disease prevention as microbes had yet to be discovered.Having said that, population density was low except for a few cities, and cesspits existed which generally did not leak into the water supply. Bathing was done in family groups, and the spread of disease was much less likely from this than from the Roman Baths.Work as a peasant was very hard, and the feudal system could be brutal to those at the bottom end of society. In principle, the feudal lord had the obligation to look after the villeins who he controlled, and some did that very dutifully. Holidays (Holy Days) were quite common and there were many opportunities to celebrate. Modern employers should take note.War was not constant, and much of the fighting would pass the main part of the population by. There were exceptions, such as the behaviour of the English army during the Hundred Years War, but for the majority war had little effect on them. There was a surprisingly high level of literacy among the middling classes, and many women could read and write. There are court records which show that many people were involved in litigation, so access to some form of justice was probably quite common.Living in the same building as the animals, especially cattle, albeit in a different section, provided a good source of heat in winter, and rammed earth floors are more practical than is generally thought. If you were a monk or nun you could expect to reach a good age, with decent food and medical care, as well as limited physical labour. As for the knightly classes, there is another quote from "The Lion in Winter", a line spoken by Henry II. "I'm fifty years old. Good God, I'm the oldest man I know."Constant travelling, the rigours of war and diseases during military campaigns as well as the fighting led to a low life expectancy for royalty and soldiers. If I had been born in the Middle Ages I would have wanted to be a monk.

If Freddie Mercury composed or wrote the song “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” why did Elvis Presley record it in 1965 ? I'm confused. Did Freddie write it in the 1960s and then let Elvis sing it?

Freddie Mercury wrote Crazy Little Thing Called Love in 1979. Roger Taylor claims that Mercury wrote the song in less than ten minutes whilst in a bubble bath in Munich.Elvis Presley never recorded a version of it because he died two years before it was written. However, in this interview, Brian May says that the song was a tribute to Elvis:I’m not sure why you think that Elvis sang the song in 1965. What reason do you have to believe this?UPDATE: Michael Durcan has identified this YouTube clip of an Elvis impersonator singing CLTCL, with a photo of Elvis as the only visual accompaniment. The poster is clearly trying to pass the singer off as Elvis, hence the confusion!
