Who Was Tennessee Johnson

How long to get mail from dallas texas to johnson city tennessee?

Assuming it actually got into the US Mail system on Friday, you will get it Tuesday or Wednesday. Today (Monday) was a postal holiday, so you have Sunday and Monday that the mail didn't move. However, this requires that it got into the mail system. If she put it in a mailbox that had already been collected, it didn't get into the system.

Yeah, I noticed that during the Titans/Chargers game.
It actually IS a mild case of Tourette's Syndrome.

He's a great player and if it doesn't border him then it shouldn't bother us either.

What side was Tennessee on in the Civil War?

That depends on what division you’re talking about.Yes, Tennessee did secede from the Union, however, not all of Tennessee wanted to go.We almost became like Virginia, who was split into Virginia and West Virginia, all because of one third, the third I live in, was pro-Union, pro-Abolition, and did not like going to war and die in that war when wealthy plantation owners could actually opt out of it.I’m not kidding about this.East Tennessee, because of our rugged geography, wasn’t plantation land. We were populated by poor farmers. And it was the poor farmers who were forced to send their sons to war and die in that war, whereas the rich plantation owners who had slaves, could actually opt out of sending their sons to war. Since we didn’t benefit from slavery at all, we saw no point in fighting a war over it. We were perfectly fine with the idea of freeing men, women, and children from their enslavement. Because they were like us, being screwed over by the rich aristocrat plantation owners. The Underground Railroad actually through East Tennessee. We helped many escaping slaves to the North.Yeah, we wanted to give Middle Tennessee and West Tennessee a giant F-U and go back to the Union. So, they retaliated and used military force to make East Tennessee join them when they voted to leave. But we didn’t go quietly. There was a guerrilla warfare being fought in East Tennessee between Tennesseans and East Tennessee did its best to get some help from our Union allies.Eventually, it took a Tennessean who became Lincoln’s VP to bring us back to the Union. That being Andrew Johnson of course who was very much an abolitionist. And because of Johnson, we were the first state to rejoin the Union.
