Murali will play despite his injury. Sri Lanka can cover him up. But if he plays, he can bowl but being substituted for another fielder one can make an argument. Prior injuries will be taken into account for a subing a fielder. But I do not think India will worry too much with Murali. Recalling Vaas and Randhiv is just a cover up in case if the SL players cannot make it. But knowing Murali, a limping Murali is far more dangerous than a fit Randhiv.
While Indians are Better Batsmen of spin how could other countries tackle Mendis in champ trophy?
It is rather Indians WERE better batsmen of spin.They no longer as much domestic cricket as they were doing a few years back.Moreover the these days less capable spinners compared to the past. As far as Mendis is concerned he has admirable control and variety to surprise any batsmen who is careless.It is dangerous to be overambitious and overcautious against him.His success rate may fall with time but still will be better than others.
