What should we expect in the Ryan-Biden Vice President debate?
Well Biden will probably be on the defensive, defending Obama's record on the economy and (being the former head of the foreign relations committee) will be touting Obama's foreign affairs success. There is a great possibility that Biden will hit back at Ryan over his Medicare overhaul as it was generally unpopular, especially with the elderly.Ryan will be attacking Obama's record on the economy and touting his own history of working to fix the budget. If Biden decides to hit back on medicare, I am sure Ryan will cite the economic benefits of the overhaul plan and the fact that he backpedaled in his more recent plan and proposed for seniors to be able to opt out of the current system if they desire.
How did Paul Ryan win the recall elections?
He Didn’t.To my knowledge he has never faced a recall. He might have won his seat initially in a recall but that would have been almost twenty years ago. Since then he has won by comfortable margins.He was a clean cut well spoken fiscal conservative and a local boy who stayed at home. He had a good story too. His Dad died when he was in High School and he saved all of the Social Security benefit to go to college.His district, Wisconsin’s 1st, was redrawn a few years ago making him extremely secure. Until this year he has been bullit proof in elections. His only real drawback now seems to be that he hasn’t been critical enough of the President.You see, Paul Ryan gets a lot of Democratic leaning votes. Always has. Last time in the primary he faced an actual White Supremecist and blew the guy out of the water by 65 points, then beat the Democrat by a big margin as well.This election might be tough but he is still the favorite. Unseating a Speaker is rare.The current Wisconsin recall debate does not involve his seat but rather State House seats for guys that Walker brought in to the Executive.

what are your thoughts on the debate so far? its actually very funny. i love joe biden right now lol, how he isnt scared to call paul out on his claims, unlike obama vs romney. i loved it when the lady asked ryan. " so what is your plans into cutting spending to save your 5 trillion claim?" ryan - " uh, we're going to cut 5 trillion dollars and cut loop holes! " lady - " so what exactly is that? what are you going to cut exactly?!" ryan - " LISTEN, just listen! we're not going to be like obama, listen, we're going to cut loop holes, and save 5 trillion dollars" LOL i loved how he tries to avoid answering the question that he has no clue into answering and joe is calling him out on it. so funny, joe wins hands down to be honest, all paul is doing is making claims he cannot back up! what do you guys think?! be honest, i want to hear every perspectives
2012 U.S. Elections: Is Paul Ryan a good person?
Paul Ryan, so far as we know, is a good person. His father passed away (he found his father dead of a heart attack) when Paul was young, so he had responsibilities at an earlier age than most of his peers. Paul's grandmother had alzheimer disease and lived with he and his mom, and he was a co-care giver. All this while still in high school.He has been elected to The U.S. Congress as a Republican multiple times from a predominately Democratic state (Wisconsin). He was not born into a family that had a lot of money; he got his first job working at McDonald's.He has all the attributes of a good person, but being good does not mean he is universally liked. He does know the value of learning as much as he can about issues, and some would say he is a policy wonk. He is an Economics graduate, and can use numbers and facts to explain his positions with adroitness. Some people no doubt can, and will, find faults with him. To also say he is a bad person would call into question the motives of such a person describing Paul Ryan thusly. Democratic Party (U.S.): Does anyone like Joe Biden?
I'm sure joe Biden would be great to hang around with and tell stories, even though I greatly disagree with his policies. Seems like a man that is actually TOO honest to be in politics. And he blurts out what he thinks. He would make an awesome uncle to show up at a family reunion, I just don't care for his politics.
