Who Would Make A Good Live Action Tim Drake

Is Tim Drake mentioned in the DC animated universe (movies not TV) and the Injustice universe?

I’m not so certain that Under The Red Hood is in-continuity with the other films. Unless I’m mistaken, Son of Batman is the first of a continuity of films that also consists of Batman vs Robin, Justice League: War, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, Batman: Bad Blood, Justice League vs Teen Titans, and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. In Son of Batman, when Dick and Damian talk about Robin, the conversation seems to suggest that at that point, Dick was the only Robin. There’s no mention of Tim, but there’s also no mention of Jason. And while the original Robin suit is on display in the Batcave, the red and black Robin suit Jason wore when he got older in Under The Red Hood (based on Tim’s One Year Later costume) doesn’t appear:Not only that, but they have different actors for Batman (Bruce Greenwood in Under The Red Hood and Jason O’Mara in the linked films) and the art style is also very different, whereas the linked films all have a consistent artistic style to them. Compare these:So no, there hasn’t yet been any reference to Tim Drake in this new DCUA. As far as Injustice goes, to date I don’t believe there’s been any mention of Tim in either the comics or the video games. It’s possible that he does exist in that universe, but just hasn’t turned up yet for whatever reason. I don’t recall any mention of Jason prior to Injustice 2.

What makes Deathstroke a good enough villain to carry the new Batman movie?

He’s a kind of opposite to Batman - both men strive for perfection (even if Deathstroke is phisically and mentally enhanced by an experiment, while Batman has only his training and wits to rely on).Bruce Wayne “donates” his skills to fight crime; Slade Wilson hires his skills to the highest bidder. But Deathstroke would probably work best if Robin was involved. At his origin, Deathstroke is a kind of ersatz Batman. His main targets were the New Teen Titans, headed by the first Robin, at a time when Dick Grayson was questioning the whole point of staying as Batman’s pupil approaching 20 years old. You can definitely say that it was leading the Titans to fight Deathstroke that Dick Grayson outgrew his sidekickness. On his best stories, he is a nemesis, but also part mentor of young heroes, at least by making them painfully aware of their own shortcomings. It’s telling that Deathstroke was the main enemy in the saga where Dick dumped the green shorts to become his own persona, Nightwing. The Terminator took about ten years since he was created to fight/team up with Batman. This is the cover of the Brazilian issue, and the fact was considered so rare that the Brazilian edition did a special metal foil cover for the issue where they published it (you can’t see here, but the letters reflected light).Subsequent Robins also fought the Terminator. Jason Todd had no time to fight him - he died and got better before having that chance -, but Tim Drake had.Damian Wayne - the fourth or fifth Robin (do you consider Steph?) and Bruce Wayne’s biologic son - became even a pawn for Deathstroke once. To fight Dick Grayson, who was Batman at the time. But it’s not all about Robin. Or is it?In “Arrow” series, Slade is also a kind of mentor - this time to spoiled rich kid Oliver Queen, who would become the Green Arrow. Deathstroke is a twisted Batman to Oliver’s Robin (Hood?).In a Batman movie, the contrasts and similarities between both Deathstroke and Batman should be explored. It could very well work.Maybe a kind of a “Ten Nights of the Beast” screenplay could do the trick.

Which animated batman series has Jason Todd as robin?

Jason Todd wasn't actually Robin in any of the Batman Animated Series. He was the second Robin, after Dick Grayson, and before Tim Drake, but is only featured in the comics. If you watched Batman: The Animated Series, Dick is Robin in the first two seasons, but in later seasons, the show was renamed to The New Batman Adventures, with a new Robin - Tim Drake - but with the origin of Jason Todd, and sharing many characteristics too.

Under the Red Hood was Jason Todd's first animated appearance, based off of the comic book Batman: Under the Hood vol. 2.

As the Robin of the 80's, after Dick became Nightwing, Jason proved to be relatively unpopular, and was killed off after a phone vote to choose if he would live or die. He was later revealed to be alive, as in the movie.
