Whose Your Favourite Gta Protagonist

Who are your three favorite GTA protagonists?

I would like to point out, you didn't say they had to be the main characters.Trevor PhilipsI love a psychotic character such as Trevor. He doesn't give a shit about anything, such as living in Sandy Shores and wearing certain clothes.Wade HerbertDespite doing drugs I find Wade simply adorable, and he loves his ice cream.Dave NortonIn my opinion, he's the only FIB agent who isn't a complete asshole like Steve Haines. I also absolutely love this guy's voice.

Who was your least favorite Rockstar game protagonist?

I understand that actions define a character.I also understand that just because he’s a protagonist, that does not mean he’s always right. With this in mind, I’d say that Micheal De Santa is my least favorite Rockstar Protagonist.I simply do not agree with anything Micheal does… at all. Absolutely NOTHING he does is justified.Abandoning his bank heist buddies is justified, but failing to turn them in to the authorities is irresponsible toward the American public. And it’s dishonest to his buddies. In order to get revenge on his wife for cheating on him, he pulls some random gang boss’s house down a cliff. Without thinking, he just does it. He does not know what he’s doing, but he thinks he’s just punishing the male cheating party. In order to get the money to pay for the house he destroyed, he decides to rob a major jewelry store. He drags some random people that he just met into it.He gets mad when his wife cheats on him, but feels nothing for cheating on his wife with hookers. He sleeps in the back of his sons sports car, and as the car is being repossessed he forces the driver to crash into a car dealership- He then proceeds to beat up the car dealership owner. The dealership owner may be dishonest, but Micheal didn’t know that.Hates his family, even though he isolates himself from them.Constantly complains about Trevor, his former bank heist buddy. When Trevor comes into his house, he does not kill him. Unjustified. Then he proceeds to do a mission with him like they’re still best buddies.Basically everything else in the story Micheal does is simply idiotic and not well thought out.And he’s still the same character by the end of the story. He does not develop in any meaningful way.At the beginning of the game, he’s a grumpy idiot. At the end of the game, he’s an impulsive idiot with friends. That’s it. He’s not a thinker, or a bruiser, or a strategist, or a support man… He’s really just there.

In the game Grand Theft Auto 5, who is your favorite protagonist and why?

I personally like Micheal De Santa, his backstory, and life during the story line was pretty sad, and depressing. Sure he ain’t no saint, but he does deserve some sympathy. He was a bank robber, who fell in love, did everything for his wife, and left his criminal life behind for his family, because he understood what would happen if he was imprisoned or killed. He actually cared about Amanda, Tracey, and Jimmy. Fast forward the present day, he is in a terrible family life. His wife cheats on him at every turn, with the tennis coach, and the yoga instructor (if you play as Micheal, and not see prostitutes or anything, it makes him look more faithful then Amanda, sure he was bad before, but Amanda was to, being a stripper/prostitute and all), his son is a drug addict, a liar, and treats him like, his daughter is a fame addict willing to do anything, even have sex for fame, and has no care for the consequences of her actions, jimmy to. Micheal may have anger issues, but he still cared for his family. Soon his entire family left him, blaming him for everything but not putting up to their mistakes, and they never realized how much Micheal did for them. Yet he still forgave them. Micheal may be a bad person, but i’m still sympathetic to him, he is a damaged father, who does terrible things, but loves his family dearly

Do you think a female protagonist could fit in a Grand Theft Auto game?

I’m personally alright with that, though I’ve ran into my share of sexists on the internet who think that the GTA games are the exclusive domain of men.I dug up some interesting statistics about GTA, and found that a surprising number of 55- to 64-year-old people (gender unspecified, though very likely to be male) like to play Grand Theft Auto V when compared to the general population.Middle-class, middle-aged parents are likely to play Grand Theft AutoWhen looking by gender, what I’ve found so far regarding gender statistics only goes up to Grand Theft Auto IV, which in 2011 was “dominated by male gamers, with a 4:1 ratio of male to female players. And despite the GTA titles usually carrying 18+ ratings, 20 per cent of players are aged under 16.”Brand Map: Grand Theft AutoI was unable to find hard numbers on gamers who are also pro-feminism, much less GTA players who are in favor of such, and as such the only thing I can say for certain is that I myself am cool with the idea. Whether or not the protagonist of the next GTA game could be a female is apparently an idea that’s been discussed in online communities and with Rockstar itself:Right, but when you changed to multiple characters did you think of having a woman in a lead playable role?We didn't really think about it this time. That's not to say that we couldn't or we wouldn't. This character set is just what came to us: it wasn't, "we've got X and Y so we need Z", we weren't trying to do it off a checklist – I don't think that will ever give you something that's believable or engaging. In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course. We just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things that we always think about. It didn't feel natural for this game but definitely for the right game in the future – with the right themes, it could be fantastic. But for GTA V, this was the organic thing that came up, these were the characters what would display the themes we wanted to think about.Grand Theft Auto 5: Rockstar's Dan Houser on Los Santos and the futureAll in all, it seems that the possibility of a female protagonist appearing in a future GTA or other Rockstar game is not zero, at least.

Who is your favorite GTA V playable character? Why?

Well…..Trevor is an asshole. A pathetic asshole. an immature drugged up loser of a man. Years of puffing gasoline has done a number on his brain. He is anti social, and hostile to new people and new ideas. He’s like a stupid monkey on steroids. He’s crass, and he represents everything that’s wrong with GTA 5. I’ve always wanted to play as a white trash redneck. Thanks Rockstar!Micheal is also a loser. Seriously. His backstory is as follows: when he didn’t get on the high school football team, he decided that his effort would be better spent robbing banks. That’s it. He spends most of his on-screen time complaining about anything, from his family, to his friends, to his life, to his job, and he’s generally a whiny piss bag. He sets the events of the game in motion when he pulls a guys house off of a cliff. To pay for it he decides to rob banks….. 10/10 story man. When he first sees Trevor walk into his house, he does not think it would be a good idea to shoot him in the face. And after 5 seconds of acting, they make up and do a mission together. That contradicts everything these characters should stand for. THE STORY SHOULD NOT ONLY HAPPEN IN THE CUTSCENES.Franklin’s the least asinine. But he really has no characterization. He’s a hood guy, and he wants to escape that life of small time drug deals and gang violence and such. How does he decide to do this? To escape a nearly criminal life, he decides to rob banks with a guy who cost him his job.I’ll write that again. An old white guy got him fired by making him crash a car through his bosses business. The old white guy makes an offhand remark that maybe “they should get together for drinks.” Franklin takes him up on that offer by breaking into his house and asking for a drink.I’ve never known a human being to act that stupid. But whatever. For the rest of the game, Frank is just there to “react” to whatever is going on. From Micheal and Trevor arguing, to the absurdity of whatever setpiece he’s taking part in, to the retardation of his best friend Lamar. He shows no other character at all.So Franklin.

Who is your favorite Grand Theft Auto character (protagonist) ?

C.J because he was the one I played with most and I thought San Andreas was the best out of all the GTA's.

What is your favourite Grand Theft Auto character?

I gotta go with a few, it's impossible for me to choose one.Trevor PhilipsWho doesn't love a crazy ass psycho? At least he's also not too much of a liar. Trevor can also be smart as well, considering he picked up on the narc from GTA V online. According to Wade, Trevor is also really good with using numbers.Wade HerbertHe can be a bit slow at times, but I think he's a pretty cool guy. Wade would also be a person you could easily hang around with, including going to an ice cream shop.Dave NortonPossibly the only guy in the FIB who isn't an asshole, period. He was the one who shot Michael back in North Yankton, but decided to help him. Dave is an honest guy, compared to his ex-boss Steve Haines.Lamar DavisI love him, but boy do I feel bad when the female players throw the rose on the ground. Lamar's dialogue can be entertaining, and makes me laugh every time.“Hey Benny what's happening, pimp?”…“That boy go hard.”ChopTechnically Lamar's dog, Lamar gives him to Franklin instead. Chop is a lovable dog, and isn't afraid to go after his enemies.

What is your favorite Grand Theft Auto weapon?

gta 5 it was the musket

Who is the toughest main character on the GTA series?

Tommy Vercetti's the best! Cause he made his way to the top and controlled Vice City! CJ's ok but his past is so ghetto! Tommy Vercetti's past is much cooler because he even earned a nickname "The Harwood Butcher" cause he killed many people before Vice City!!! CJ's past however is to work for a mafia man and stealing cars is his deal like I said ghettolicious!
