Why Am I Always Extremely Thirsty

Why am I always extremely thirsty in the morning?

I'm 14. For my entire life, almost every morning, I am extremely dehydrated. I drink a lot of fluids every day. I mostly drink cold fluids. When I wake up, I really have to go to the bathroom. I have a lot of urine, and it is very yellow. I feel like my body sucks out a ton of water each night. Also, my tongue is heavily coated with that stuff that makes you feel really thirsty, and you still feel thirsty even after you drink water. The only way to get this stuff off my tongue is to eat something. Apparently, I need to salivate a lot to get it off. And I have to drink a lot of water in the morning. A few hours later, I feel fine. I used to think this was normal, but now I hear that it's maybe not. Could someone explain what could be causing this?

Why am I always thirsty?

Lately I've always been really thirsty. I can barely get through an hour of class without getting a drink. I know that thirst is a sign of dehydration, but all of my pee is clear, so I know I'm not dehydrated. I'm not on any medicine, and I haven't really been eating salty foods lately. I've been researching this, and found out that extreme thirst is a sign of diabetes. I do have a history of diabetes in my family, but I don't really feel like that is what I have. Are there any more things that my thirst could be a symptom of? Or am I just blowing this out of proportion?

Why do I always get thirsty at night?

This is definitely a symptom of diabetes. Ask your doctor to do an HbA1c test. Its a simple blood test that does not require fasting. Here are the symptoms of type 2 diabetes. Please understand that not everyone with type 2 diabetes has symptoms, particularly in the early stages of the disease. In fact, 5.7 million of the 23.6 million people with diabetes are unaware that they even have the disease. Of those, 90 to 95% are those with type 2 diabetes.1 Type 2 diabetes symptoms may include one or more of the following:   * Excessive thirst  * Frequent urination  * Extreme hunger  * Unexplained weight loss  * Fatigue, or a feeling of being "run down" and tired  * Rapid breathing  * Blurred vision  * Dry, itchy skin  * Headache  * Tingling or burning pain in the feet, legs, hands, or other parts of the body  * High blood pressure  * Mood swings  * Irritability, depression  * Frequent or recurring infections, such as urinary tract infections, yeast infections, and skin infections  * Slow healing of cuts and bruises   Unlike type 1 diabetes, which frequently has a sudden onset of symptoms and reaches a crisis point before diagnosis is made, the signs of type 2 diabetes may be gradual and more insidious. Often, the first symptoms that people with undiagnosed type 2 diabetes experiences are those from complications of the disease, such as blurry vision (retinopathy) or foot pain (neuropathy).

Why am i always thirsty everytime i have KFC?

I'm always thirsty?

It could be where you live, do you live somewhere high, currently moved? Um, weird question.. but are you also peeing like way too much. If so, it could be diabetes. As long as your functioning correctly and the only problem is being thirsty, I would not worry about it. But if some weird things are happening, it definitely would not hurt to get it checked out.

Why do I always get thirsty after a shower?

Maybe the heat from the shower causes you to sweat, in a kind of dehydration.
