Why Am I In A Better Mood And Have More Energy Now That I

Why am I in such good mood lately?

I've been depressed like for my whole freshman year, I always overthought about everything and cared about everything. This summer I srated going to gym and I'm like re-born. I have so much confidence, I don't give a **** about others, I have a lot of energy and I'm in really good mood lately. What should I do to keep this feeling and not be depressed again?

Can you become addicted to monster energy drinks?

Well, they do have caffeine, and other ingredients that can be addictive as wel...it really depends on how you moderate yourself, if you drink one or perhaps two daily you'll be fine and have nothing to worry about. But if you drink a lot, you can get addicted and if you withdraw, for the first few weeks after you'll experience withdrawal symptoms.
I think if you drink way too many on a regular basis that excess energy will lead to hyperactivity, impulsiveness and aggression, lots and lots of urges. You may reach a point where you are emotionally and mentally unstable. But it's fine if you're into sports and working, it's obviously a great boost with the energy it gives you...you usually want to look elsewhere when you're tweaking your diet to help build muscle but convenience stores have two great muscle building helpers: beef jerky, which has crazy protein, and energy drinks.

Is SEX better in the morning or at night?

Sex is great first thing in the morning,And what a wake up call too, lol,
Its better than any alarm clock, lol,

Why do I feel addicted to Soda?

Cutting anything out of your diet that is literally part of every day can cause side effects of this kind. The sugar probably accounts for your situation. I get this way very much with soda, though I drink caffeinated. Every now and then I decide I should give it up for awhile. The headaches and other symptoms go away after about 38 hours. (Except for the lack of energy. I am much less energetic when "off the juice.")

Hey, as addictions go, soda isn't so bad, right? ;)

I was put on a higher dose of lithium recently and I felt my energy levels go through the roof and I now have so much more energy, however my psychiatrist doesn't believe me. Has this experience happened to anyone else?

You didn’t say what state you were in prior to taking lithium. IF you were depressed, it could have raised your mood. That is part of it being a mood stabilizer. IT is supposed to stabilize the lows as well. Many people, me included, report feeling much better as a result of taking lithium. I don’t find it strange that you would report increased energy. If it is for bipolar disorder, don’t worry all moods are temporary with this disorder anyway. Enjoy it while you can. If mania develops, you will know that soon too.At different times and with different new medications I have had a surge of energy for a number of weeks. Hopefully you will continue to get positive results. It’s nice when a mood stabilizer doesn’t just leave us feeling dulled.
