Why Am I So Eager About Writing

I am writing a paragraph on why I want to be a CNA, which points should I stress?

Hi, i am a cna, and you can work in a long term care facility, hospital, or home health.
You could start with saying you like helping people. Alot of people look down on cna's but if you think about it we are the eyes,and ears for nurses. We report to the nurse if there is any change in a resident. We keep track of what they eat and drink.
Being a CNA is not an easy job but its not really a hard job either. But it helps if you like helping others. I work in a rehab hospital, and it is not just elderly people i work with.
I have worked in nursing homes, and it is a demanding job, it really is but its worth it. I miss working in a nursing home, I have been thinking about going back because the people in nursing homes are just so eager to talk to the aids,most residents are really sweet but you get your grouchy ones from time to time too.

Which one is correct: 'I am, eagerly, waiting for you', or ' I am eagerly waiting for you'?

Both sentences are correct. They differ in contexts as detailed below.'I am, eagerly, waiting for you.'Though looks awkward ,it may be used under extreme conditions .Comma gives a direction to the reader or speaker to take a pause wherever it is used. Since two commas , one before and the other after the word ‘ eagerly ’are used, it is a special instruction to speaker to halt and proceed. There is a hidden stroke in it. Thoughts and emotions are too powerful in this sentence. Though grammar may not accept it. Unusually and occasionally such sentences are uttered to show special or exorbitant feelings. As per Usage , it is permissible.' I am eagerly waiting for you.'It is correct. Grammar generally permits it. There is no extra powerful emotion involved in this sentence. In ordinary circumstances it is spoken without emotion.Other examples :Qu : In which case has the speaker managed to change his friends’ attitude toward him ?a. Now , my friends, listen to me.b. Now my friends listen to me.Answer : b;

What makes people so eager to spot spelling errors?

To Peggy Murray,I love to help people, I am a teacher, I love to write and edit documents, I get paid very well to do this (in my day job, not Quora), and I love grammar; therefore, helping people with their spelling — or rather, suggesting edits — comes with the territory.We all make mistakes, and the irony is that sometimes I have inserted typos in my own answers about grammar. To the rescue have come some of my followers; I do appreciate those kind souls who offer suggestions, and I accept/publish them if they’re right.When I suggest edits to Quora answers, people are free to ignore my suggestions or to publish/accept them. When I take the time to suggest corrections, it is not a condemnation but rather a commendation for how well the answer already reads, and my edits merely brush off a little dust so the golden nugget (the question or answer) shines a little brighter without distractions. By suggesting edits privately, I can ensure that only the writer sees my suggestions.For Quora questions, I often fix the spelling and grammar, and then hope the Quorabots don’t revert my changes back to the incorrect version unintentionally submitted by the OP.—Sarah M. 6/24/2018ORIGINAL QUESTION: What makes people so eager to spot spelling errors?

Well I am thinking about writing a novel so I was hoping you guys could help me with something unique about time travel?

Thanks for A2A.Honestly, I don’t know much about time travel in particular but I can provide you with basic guidelines that I would have followed if I wanted to write a novel on time travel.First, I would have read a lot of research papers/ non- fiction books based on time travel to actually understand what has been already established in that field and how can i weave it into my story. A fiction is never truly a fiction, it originates from what an author has experienced or seen or read. Reading about theories about various scientist who have spent their lives conducting a research about time travel might have jotted down everything they have learned after conducting numerous researches and various experiments. Therefore if you want to write about something such as time travel a lot of research is needed from your side. And since you want something unique you can’t follow popular ideas that are already established about that field through mediums like cinema. But I’m sure you can use those ideas and merge it with your own ideas and then present it.Secondly, watch a lot of videos. Ideas (especially for writing a novel) comes to us after we know/have seen a lot about that field. I’m sure there are many videos/podcasts available online based on this topic that might help you.After that read Fiction/watch movies and see how have they presented it. Read about their experience. You’ll learn a lot from their of dealing with the subject.Start jotting down your ideas, even if you think it is way too absurd, just write it down because you never know where might that idea fit in the whole novel.I hope this helps! All the best!

Is it correct to say 'We are really excited and eagerly looking forward to attending the sessions'?

The sentence is not ungrammatical, but it can use improvement in economy, that is, using more verbiage than necessary to convey your meaning. In this case, there is one too many adverbs for a sentence of this short length, so the sentence sounds gushy. I usually tend to discourage using adverbs at all, instead picking the verb or adjective that says exactly what you mean without embellishment. It appears to me that “eagerly looking forward” is part of being “really excited,” not an altogether separate descriptor. Thus, I would say simply, “We are eagerly looking forward to the sessions.” Notice that I’ve also omitted “attending,” which is surplus verbiage because it’s really the sessions, not attending, that you are looking forward to. Attendance is implied by the existence of the sessions.When you write, omit any unnecessary verbiage and make every word count.

Is this correct: "I am eagerly looking forward to be working here"?

Whoever received your message will notice that your English isn’t totally fluent, but they’ll understand what you mean.It should be “I am eagerly looking forward to working here.” Now, how can you avoid mistakes like this? The problem seems to be that it’s hard to tell the difference between the preposition “to”, which is followed by a noun, and the infinitive, or basic form, of a verb in English, which is “to” followed by the present tense verb - for example, in this sentence that I’m in the process of writing, we have “to be” and “to tell”. “Working” is a gerund, a noun formed from a verb, so it works just fine as the object of “to”.If you’re not sure whether “to” is acting as a preposition or as the marker for an infinitive, try substituting a noun and see if the sentence makes sense. For example, you might say “I am eagerly looking forward to my vacation” - since that makes sense, you know that “to” is a preposition and needs to be followed by a gerund.
