Why Am I Still Not Thin

Why am I thin no matter how much I eat?

EasyThere is one thing you aren’t doing. If you do this one thing you will increase in size and mass. The one thing you need to do is…EAT MOREIf you aren’t gaining any weight or size it is only because of this one factYou are not eating enoughYou could be eating 6 pancakes, 12 eggs and 6 peices of bacon for breakfast. 3 turkey sandwiches with fries and 2 apples for lunch. 4 peices of salmon, a sirloin steak and 2 cups of veggies with dinner. If you aren’t gaining weight from eating all that it is because of one reason and one reason only. You are not eating enoughWhatever you are eating you need to eat way more than that to gain weight. You may think it is a lot or enough to gain the weight you want but it is not.I used to be thin like you not too long ago. Only when I was called thin I was called in ways like rail, string-bean, pencil, stick and many others. When I decided I wanted to gain weight through weight training I increased my daily caloric intake. I thought I was eating enough to gain weight.I was so wrong. You have to train your body to eat more. And with any training comes practice and with practice comes pains and repitition. There was times I needed to force feed myself, seriously. I would throw the food in my mouth to the point of almost throwing up.It gets hard. But sometimes that is what it takes and if you are serious enough and want it bad enough, you will sacrifice for it and get it done.Just knowYou won’t be eating for the flavor or the convenience or comfort or celebration…You will be eating for THE RESULTA great way to get started is to take your body weight and times it by 20.Ex. You weigh 180 x 20 = 3,200 cal/dayDoesnt matter how you get it in. 3 meals, 6 meals. Just worry about getting the calories in.Your body will get used to that enormous volume of food after some time. But first you have to go through the training, practice and the repitition.Best of luck to you

How can i be 1.61m and 47kg and still not thin!?!?

You're probably not fat, you're just not toned. I guarantee if you get some muscle mass you'll look way better.

My weight is 174 my height is 5/11 but why am i still thin and very bony!!?

i dunno...i m 5'8" and i use to weight 170 and people thought i looked avg and not at all heavy...some guy that was about 150 and about 5'10" thought i was light enough to carry on his back...lol and most guessed me at about 130-135 that is how light i looked...some people just look a lot lighter because of how they carry their weight...and 174 is healthy for ur height...its not overweight by n e means...muscle weighs more than fat too...some people are just genetically able to carry more weight to look the same as someone 20+ pounds lighter.

Why am I bonier but not thinner?

Since I decided to exercise healthy eating habits 2-3 months ago, I find something very strange:
- I feel more my bones. Notably the sharper hipbones, collarbones, cheekbones, jaws, wrists and elbows.
- But I am not thinner. My jeans fit the same around my butt and thighs.

In the past, whenever I lost weight (in an unhealthy way, I recognize it) I got bonier, but my legs also became slimmer.

Why is this? Any ideas?

Why am I so skinny even though I eat a lot?

Because you don’t eat a lot.Everytime you ask a skinny person “why are you so skinny?” They always say something dumb af like “oh I have a fast metabolism I eat a lot and can’t gain weight derrr.”Ridiculous.Being skinny has nothing to do with body fat percentage nor does it have anything to do with metabolism.Would you call guys who are ripped or shredded “skinny”? No.Skinny people do not have fast metabolism. Most skinny people actually have lower metabolism than the average person does because there’s not much mass for the body to support. Being skinny is a lot more related to muscle mass rather than your fat mass. Muscles burn 3 times more calories than fat burns. Skinny people lack muscles so they obviously do not require a large amount of calories to maintain their sizes. If skinny people really do have fast metabolism, they would not say “I can’t gain weight.” They would say “I can’t lose fat” because people with fast metabolism eat almost nonstop everyday. Obviously, skinny people are not like this at all.See this guy? This is Furious Pete. He has a fast metabolism. He eats this much all the time without looking fat af.If skinny people eat half this amount everyday, they would gain fat like crazy.Yeah, “skinny people have fast metabolism” lol.Skinny people are skinny because they don’t eat that much and they don’t lift. Most of their body fat percentages are actually a lot higher than you would expect because skinny people’s lean body mass is really low.

I eat a lot of junk food, yet I’m skinny as hell, why am I not fat?

Genetics, metabolism, activities, and you're eating simple sugars with a bunch of other crap in it! I have been thin ALL MY LIFE!! I ate junk food, did gymnastics, was a hyper person. Now I am 46, 125 lbs and my health could be better! I don't have the energy I used to because I am getting older. But I do try to eat healthier, not vegan or any diets. I still stay active and I am blessed to still be thin! Don't worry if you're under 25, cuz believe it or not, your body is still growing! But try to lay off the majority of junk food, cuz you may not get fat, but you're blood pressure rises, your skin looks bad, sleep is erratic, you get depressed. Ask a doctor or nutritionist what you can do. Replace 1 or 2 junkfood items for healthy alternatives each week. Cuz your cravings may work against you! But treat yourself to a little junk 1x a month! You will gain energy & weight!! Good luck! BTW, you're beautiful, skinny or not!!

Why am i so wide, but somewhat thin?

You obviously have wide hips. I bet it's just genetics..... Unless if your hips are covered with lard!

You see, if you think your hips are fat, do some "hip abductors". It's a type of exercise that could trim down fat on your pelvic area(Or atleast, that's what I believe). The task is simple. Hold a chair, and lift your left thigh and leg side wards in a slow and controlled motion. Switch to the other leg. Do 3 sets of nonstop reps until you get tired.

Why am I skinny but still have belly fat?

You are skinny fat. When someone is skinny fat, they appear thin when they have clothes on or when you look at them from a distance. However, when you see them with their clothes off and look at their body up close, they actually have more body fat than you thought.See this guy?He looks thin when he has clothes on, right? But look at his body up close when he has no shirt on:This is Margot Robbie with her clothes on. You would think she’s thin, right?Look at her body in bikini:Notice something about both individuals? Both look thin when they have clothes on but when they reveal their bodies and you look at them closely, both people actually have more fat than you thought. If someone is lean (meaning they have low fat percentage), you would be able to see their abs and their bodies wouldn’t jiggle a lot (especially their upper arms, thighs, and bellies). Most skinny fat people are the way they are because they don’t lift heavy weights or do any resistant training. Skinny fat people have low muscle mass. Their fat percentage is high compared to their muscle mass.Skinny fat people also tend to do excessive cardio and eat low calories.Cardio is not going to balance your muscle mass and fat percentage. Lifting does.
