Why are people in Ferguson so mad about Mike Brown?
The kid was a wannabe thug not some innocent kid. People forget that he just robbed a store with his bare hands just before he was shot. People act like the cop went and shot some innocent little black kid. When in reality he shot a huge wannabe thug who just robbed a store and was charging at him. I would have shot him to. And why do all the black people In Ferguson think that rioting, attacking the police, and burning and looting their own city is the best way to end violence from the police. How stupid are these people. They believe a made up story of what happened to Mike Brown, which has been proven false. Then they they turn the criminal into an idle and vilify the cop who was just doing his job and defending himself from a violent criminal. And then they riot about it. Then they cause more violence when the cop is proven right and all them are proven wrong. How stupid can people be? This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
How does it feel to come home and find that your house was robbed?
In a word, horrible. When I walked in from the garage, I felt immediately that something wasn't quite right. Just small things. There was a sofa pillow on the floor in the family room. Things had been moved on the kitchen counters, and the blinds on the kitchen window were crooked (we later realized that was the window they used to get in).While the downstairs seemed otherwise untouched, the upstairs had been completely ransacked, particularly the master bedroom. The officer who responded to our call told us that thieves head for the bedrooms -- that's where most people keep their money, drugs, and guns. At the time, we kept none of these in the house, though we do now have a gun. In the end, the criminals took whatever they could carry and left out the front door.It was already late when we had arrived home, and the police processing took a couple of hours. But after that, I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep until there was rod installed in every window to prevent entry. We also needed a lock for the backyard gate -- again, the officer told us the robbery might never have happened if the gate was locked. Trips to Walmart and Home Depot were made that night.All that being awful, determining what had been taken to make the insurance claim was no easy task either. For several weeks after the fact, we would realize something else had been taken. I doubt anyone has a complete inventory of their home, but I recommend taking photos of each room at least twice a year to help determine (and prove) what's missing in the event of a robbery.Of course, it could have been worse. They might have trashed the place, spray painted the walls and peed on the furniture. I've heard all these types of stories. So in some ways, I suppose we were fortunate...?
My girlfriend got robbed. What do i do?
i was at school with her and after school, like normal people we went home, but when my girlfriend got home her back of her house was open. so you can guess a robber broke in and he/she took her laptop her brothers laptop and a ps3. When i called to check up on her she she didnt pick up (cuz she was sad) but after a while she answered and told me what happened and i was just at a lost. We are both only 16 and in situations like these its very sad. I don't know what to do. I want to catch the robber myself and teach him a lesson, but i know that it is out of my reach. So i want to at least comfort my girlfriend, any tips or ideas?
Whats the difference between grave robbing and archeology?
To those of us with Native American blood, the answer would be, "The color of the person doing the digging." It's OK for a white archaeologist to dig up Native remains, but let a Cherokee scholar go into a Civil War cemetery and start exhuming bodies and the manure would definitely hit the oscillating cooling device. So I guess my answer to your question would be, "The standards that the scientific community applies to the exhumation of Native remains should also be the standards by which Natives are permitted to exhume non-Native bodies." If you dig up my great-grandmother, I ought to be able to dig up yours.
Has anyone ever robbed a federal bank?
Not a good idea. Bank robbers decided to rob a Federal Reserve Bank some years ago. They decided that a Friday about 4pm would be the best time as that's when the bank would have the most money. (I think this was in West Virginia) Their thinking was that they would get the largest amount just before people came in to cash their checks. However the people in the large building across the street got off at 3:30 and were already there. Want to guess what building was across the street? FBI Headquarters. They found at least 60 shots in each robber. Now THAT'S funny. In St Louis a couple of years ago 6 people robbed the company that puts cash into the ATMs. They got caught when one of their girlfriends flashed thousands in cash in the local Wal Mart. Not a good idea to try any of this, just work for it.
Is bank robbery worse than child rape? would I only get probation and counseling if the bank guard nabs me?
Bank robbery is a federal crime and with all the security that banks have all get caught and serve time in federal prison. Maybe you should grow up and get a job.

although I'm totally against crime of any nature , I do feel for you and your family. I so wish your cousin would not have put all of you in this position and thought about you all as you are thinking of him now. if it was an armed robbery ( which must be terrifying for any living soul) then I suggest you ask for him to be locked up and the key swallowed by a big river. As you have not said what kind of robbery ( not that it makes a difference in my book) I'm not sure what to tell you to write. All I can advise is that you write from your heart, you know the truth, you know how you feel, just put it on paper. the best of luck and sorry you have been put in this position. Edit...
