Why Are Eb Games Employee Being Rude

Is it cheaper to buy video games from costco?

If you can get a used video game cheap then get it. They don't wear out. Just be sure that there is a method to reset it so you can start from scratch. Costco is only a couple of dollars less than other stores.

Do you have a description of an in-game Tavern for other DMs to use in their world?

Thanks for the A2A Rick Harnell. When you first walk into the The Belching Barmaid a sign hanging above the door belches loudly to signify a customer arrived. It is a single story rectangler building made of grey stone with white flecks. It measures 40x80 feet and the roof peaks lengthwise. The interior is a single large comfortable room with fires burning on either end, the floors are hardwood and the walls covered in white plaster - one half is catered to the smallfolk (halflings, gnomes, etc.) and the other too the tallfolk. In the middle of the wall farthest from the door is the bar wich is likewise sized for small and tall folk. The owner of the Belching Barmaid is Tim Lightfoot (CG Halfling Rogue(Thief) 5) who retired from adventuring life to set up his establishment. He won't get into a direct confrontation with anyone but a rude or ornery customer may find their coin purse missing when it comes time to pay their tab. Tim has two employees working under him: Aowana is the actual belching barmaid herself! A lovely, tall, and well built half orc female that is featured on the hanging sign. The other employee is a goblin named Bulp who lives in the cellar and handles the cleaning and carts barrels of alcohol up the stairs. The Maid (as it's called in shorthand) is an establishment for adventurers and by adventurers and caters to a rough and rowdy crowd but brawling is forbidden indoors. The tavern often features gambling on cards, dice, rat racing, and prize fighting in the cellar. There are no rooms to sleep in but anyone who can convince Tim of their good nature might be allowed to put up a bedroll after hours in the cellar with Bulp.

Ok...I just got fired from eb games/gamestop for letting my friend use my 15% discount.?

by the wording of your details, it is apparent that you knew ahead of time that you were abusing your discount.

you can contact higher management, but unless you give solid proof, it will be your word against his, and not worth much.

however, you can contact them, tell them who you are and that you'd like to tip them off on other abuse

-i work in retail loss prevention, and most internal theft issues actually result in the person that lost their job giving away info on other people that were doing wrong as well
--------
now, you ask, how could he do that to you when he knows he was doing worse?

i'm guessing he was told to reduce his staff. or, it's possible he either didn't like you, or had someone else that he'd rather have the job than you
---------
in any event, contact higher management. if you don't have any numbers, go to the website that consumers use, and report it anonymously

Is it REALLY that bad working at GameStop?

If you want to be considered for any job, you need to dress up, at least to dress slacks, dress shirt, and a tie. Doing less than that pretty much tells the manager right away "I don't really care about this job", which translates to them as "they aren't going to bother doing any real work".

I know three people who have worked at EBGames/Gamestop, ranging from part-timer to Store Manager, and knew all of them from before they started working there. Basically, 98% of customers will be cool, but the remaining 2% will make you want to leap over the counter and stab them in the face with a ball-point pen. Having to change out the advertising in the store each week is a pain, but at least its only once a week. Yes, each store is expected to sell a certain number of EDGE cards and certain numbers of pre-orders for specific games, and these expectations get divided up among the empolyees by the manager. Some weeks will go well, others will absolutely bomb. EB Games, before getting bought by Gamestop, would give bonuses for meeting these targets; Gamestop reprimands you for not meeting them.

From everything I've heard, it's not a bad place to work, so long as you don't really care if you get fired. If you care, you'll stress out all the time and be a wreck. If you don't care, you can focus on having fun and helping customers actually shop, which is what is supposed to be important, but isn't.

Why are Home Depot customers so rude and hateful?

As a former employee of that company, I have always wondered about the aforementioned question. I have worked for that company in two different states (one in the south and one in the western U.S.) and the attitudes amongst the customers is nearly identical. I think that some people get angry when a store doesn't carry something and that automatically makes it the sales associate's fault. WRONG! The products that are carried (and not carried) in those stores are determined by CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS and by NO ONE in the individual stores. Moreover, I honestly believe that most folks who shop at the HD have probably NEVER had to work retail a day in their lives and/or were fed and raised like a bunch of spoiled rich kids and thus they act the part. Other than that, why do people suddenly get in a bad mood when in those stores? This isn't intended to start a ***** session, I truly want to know the answer to this!

As a female gamer, what are your experiences with sexism?

I mostly play League of Legends and, to a degree, Overwatch. These two games aren't ones where gender is really noticed, so I doubt you would face anything even related to sexism on here. I haven't, anyways. However, I used to play a lot of MMORPG games, I still do occasionally. Here, you do face some degree of sexism. It isn't necessarily discrimination on the basis of your gender, but you do get treated differently. When I played them, I definitely got treated differently than a male player would. As in, a very large amount of people flirt with you, A LOT. When I started I didn't get much attention being a new player. As you progress, though and build a community. That's when the flirty people come. I had up to a dozen guys hit on me at some points. In the beginning it was horribly overwhelming, it made the game really awkward to play.^ that would have been my face playing, for that first little while. As time goes by though, they start to realize that they won't get anywhere with you. Then it kinda stops, and only the occasional new person starts flirting. In which case it just became annoying. The REAL annoying part, The REAL sexism,is that everyone thinks you are completely helpless. Everyone believes you can't do anything on your own. You are just some helpless lost girl that needs a helping hand. That is what annoys me.MMORPGs can be extremely grindy at times. You need to put in a lot of time into them to be good. I, obviously, being a girl, couldn't possibly be able to grind on my own. I had several people willing to grind for me. Just because they didn't think I would be able to, or it was part of the flirting. I, obviously being me, agreed, of course. Who doesn't love people doing things for you for free! There is also the talking down part. The whole “you don't know this, let me explain it to you.” People always assume you have no clue what you are doing, it gets really annoying.I don't play a ton of MMORPGs nowadays. These things are partly why. Although I currently am looking to start a new one, community aside, they are still often fun. The people are, in general, friendly. The key to remember is even though they are being sexist, they are genuinely trying to be nice, which I am thankful for.Sexism against female gamers is definitely real, though. It would be better if it didn't have to happen.

Why do people say that opening a petrol pump is not profitable, but people still keep opening new ones?

adulteration is never answer if petrol pump owner want to increase it's petrol pump sale. Running a petrol pump is not at all a profitable business. Multiple Reasons that Owner done some malpractice:1. Oil companies never provide full quantity to owner. Example: if owner buys 12000 KL petrol then there is always variation of 50-80 liter. Which is never compensated to the owner. Petrol always vaporized so owner looses around extra 50 KL from 12000 KL. Considering that commission just come around 1 rupee to the owner and even if owner do not want to do any mal practice then  also they have to do some. 2. Govt officers are very corrupt and always threatened to the owner and if owner is not very powerful man then  owner has to give money. which includes multiple department. 3. Whenever govt agencies requires money, they suddenly come to petrol pump and will take heavy amount on the basic of checking.4.  Lots of other unexpected expenditure like theft of diesel and petrol from the thief.5. Adulteration by the transport driver which is sent by company.6. Different prices in all the states bec of which states with higher price always loose.7. Bec of 15 days price changing policy, Petrol pump owner always looses for their inventory while they do not get that much which prices increases.Whatever owner do, People always sees owner as suspect. So guys, it's not just petrol pump owner who is making all the cheating. It's complete system which makes owner corrupt.
