Can you taste the crap yet? ‘Cuz you are full of it. Pennsylvania can’t come up with ONE CASE of in-person voter fraud. Not ONE. Yet, they’re enacting a law that could prevent hundreds of thousands of poor people from voting. And one Republican in the state legislature there said, “Voter I.D. Done. This will make it so that Mitt Romney can win the state.” NOW...given that there IS NO VOTER FRAUD there, that can ONLY MEAN that they intend to suppress legal voters. Are you aware that there are tons of REGISTERED voters who don’t have the new I.D. requirement, and can’t afford to get it? Think!!!!

Here's what everyone should consider before breaking the law. Just because any of us believe we are entitled to something does not mean we can break the law with no consequences. Look at what you wrote. 1. "I am a single mother working one part time job and going to school full time". Good for you. It won't be easy and you will have to be strong to accomplish your goals. But, perhaps you have the single mother/going to school thing backwards. 2. " i did not apply for my own benefits because i dont qualify". Exactly.... What does "don't qualify" mean to someone that believes they are entitled? 3. "what will happen next"? I don't know. You should probably contact an attorney.

Voter ID is not suppression, in fact name me one thing you do not need an ID for that is fun, important, or gets you money? Job = ID Beer = ID Welfare/food stamps = ID So why is voting less than those?
How can someone get away with welfare fraud?
My ex-boss works 50+ hours a week and makes around $17.00 an hour she applied for food stamps and medical and was approved. She told her social worker she only works 34 hours a week and makes $9.00 an hour and that her husband doesn't work which he does and makes $29.00 an hour. She also said she had 6 kids living with her but those kids are really with her dad, so how is she getting away with this? (We are in California btw) doesn't the welfare dept have access to her income and her husbands income? Beside what she told them she makes? And how did they not find out her husband works?

They can’t believe anyone voted for someone who has spouted so much hate speech, who has so few coherent ideas, and whose tendencies seem too patently autocratic.It’s not about liberals feeling “superior”: it’s about us being morally aghast that you guys got behind a demi-man who called Mexicans “rapists” in his campaign announcement, has degraded women, attacked anyone who dares criticize him, waged a systematic war on the very free press whose constant attention to him probably factored in his victory, attacked a Gold Star family and compared his “sacrifices” as real-estate billionaire to those of the young and dead Muslim-American soldier Humayun Khan, who besmirched John McCain’s status as a war hero — when was Trump ever in Vietnam?, who wants to create a registry for Muslims (much as Hitler did for Jews — bad precedent), who has the zealous support of the KKK, who cozied up to Putin (whose government interfered in the election — in the country whose security the president is supposed to ensure), who has been nominating plutocrats and alt-right loons to very lofty and powerful positions, who promises to deport millions and break up families, to “build a Wall and make Mexico pay for it” (good luck), who will lead us into trade wars and likely encourage fiscal policy that will lead to another huge financial meltdown, calls climate change a hoax propagated by China (and therefore embraces destructive industries and deregulation, and has no agenda to help mitigate the first anthropogenic extinction in our planet’s history), etc., etc., etc.We are disappointed to think we live in a country in which our fellow citizens think that these things are presidential, that they befit the leader of the free world. We are horrified to think that America elected its own image, and that image is this. The man’s affronts to common decency and infantile vulnerability to any provocation should have disqualified him in the minds of all decent and sane people.So what the fuck happened? I am no great fan of Hillary’s. I don’t think Washington is functioning properly. But electing this wholly selfish, power-hungry golem to our highest office was not a wise alternative.It’s not so much about superiority. The feeling is “This is America in the twenty-first century! Look at the impact trickle down theories have had of wealth inequality. Look at the expenditures on military and foreign excursions that only benefit the wealthy financially. Look at the resulting economy where health insurance and minimum wage jobs have eroded the middle class and hurt the poor.The Democrats (progressives, not corporatists) want to move funding to policies that actually promote longer term growth and safety, like:A strong public education system for a more talented employee poolFree college tuition at public universities for advancements in arts and science that benefit us allTighter monitoring of Wall Street to end massive corruption that Main Street has to pay forUniversal health care that frees employees to start new venturesLower costs of healthcare through more effective negotiations with providers and drug companiesAnd many more policies that are actually supported by the majority of citizens according to many polls.Is that impractical?
