Why Are My Documents Coming Out After I Print Them

How do you view/find documents that have been recently printed in your computer?

See How to Check Printer LogsThough that is written for a more sophisticated situation, I was able to make sense of it on my personal Windows 8.1 desktop computer.  You will probably have to enable the operational log before the print jobs will start getting logged.I was assuming that you want to be able to find out if any documents have been printed without your knowledge; but the above could help even if you cannot yourself remember some document you printed.

My pdf documents are printing purple?

My guess would be that you are out of the yellow or cyan ink on your printer. Print a test page in your printer to see whether it still has all three colors - yellow, magenta (purple), and cyan (light blue).

In MS Word (Office 2007), when I print my document, 95% of each chart is not printing but it's on the screen.?

I have a document that I am working with but when I attempt to print it out, most of my charts are getting cut off. The charts print as though a white box was put over 95% of the chart although in "Print Preview," the chart shows. When I go to "DRAFT VIEW," the charts disappear completely. Any thoughts on how to fix this would be appreciated. THANK YOU!!!!

Why does printing a Microsoft Word document cause changes to the file?

This has happened in most versions over Word ver the history of the application, typically because of the use of fields in a document. (which commonly get updated when printing). 2 workarounds:a) I think there is an option somewher in the depths of Words optiosn to not update fields when printing (good luck finding it) I found it here in Word 2010: File | Options | Display | Printing Options. There is also another fields option for printing under File | Options | Advanced | Print: "Allow fields continaing tracked changes to update before printing"b) Save your file as PDF in Word then open the PDF in a PDF editor and print from there - the original DOCX or DOC will remain clean and unharmed :-)Good Luck, brian

Printer prints a blank page first and then the the actual document yet the printer setting is for one page.?

The printer is a HP Photosmart C7280 and is connected by wireless router. The printer setting from the desk top computer is for one page. The printer will eject a blank page and then print the intended document. However when printing from my laptop it will print the desired document without the extra blank page. How do I set the desk top to only print the desired document?

How do I print a scanned document in it's original size?

The problem is that bitmapped scan images can be any size you want them to be. I am guessing this is what you are experiencing. The best way is to convert your scan to a PDF.It should then print out at the size of your scan or using your print dialog box, you even have the option of “Fit to page” that will shrink it slightly if needed to make it fit on the sheet.

Why does my printer keep printing blank page?

There are few things more frustrating than carefully putting together an important document or file and pressing ‘Print’, only for the printer to send out a completely blank sheet of paper, as fresh-faced as the day it left the ream. There are a few things which could be the cause of this problem so we will run through the most common, and detail how to rectify these problems in a timely fashion.Empty CartridgesWe don’t want to sound condescending, but have you checked the ink/toner levels in your cartridge? They may have completely depleted since you last used the printer. Check the ink/toner levels and replace when necessary.Disconnected CartridgeEven if your cartridge is full and ready for action, it may have become slightly dislodged and no longer in full electrical contact with the printer. The easiest way to rectify this potential problem is to simply remove and reinstall the cartridges. This may complete the electrical circuit and ensure everything runs and prints as normal.Incorrect Paper SizeIf you have accidentally (or purposefully for a previous print job) changed the in-program paper size setting without reverting back to your paper size of choice – it could be confusing the printer. Go into Print Preview or the print settings and make sure the correct paper size is selected.Clogged NozzlesThis problem is particularly likely to affect people who use their printer quite infrequently, with hardened ink potentially clogging up the nozzles. If your printer has a ‘Print Head Nozzle Check’ option, select that and let the machine clear the nozzles. This should remove any blockages and help the ink to flow once again.Windows:- Open up Printing Preferences (this is accessible in a number of different ways, depending upon the version of Windows)- Click Maintenance- In the Settings section, select Skip Blank Page- Save your settings by clicking OKMAC:- Open Finder and select System Preferences- Depending upon the version of OS, select either Print & Scan, Print & Fax or Printers &Scanners:- Select Options & Supplies- Click either Driver or Options- Tick the Skip Blank Page and click OKAfter trying all the above solutions, If problem continue then reach out printer repair service center for resolution. There may be any technical problem with your printer.

Why does my printer print pink photos?

I have an HP Deskjet 845c. I just changed the ink cartridges in my printer and now when I print photos, they come out pink. The printer seems to be printing text normally, although any images imbedded in the document will also come out pink. I did get the right cartridges (HP 15 black and HP 17 color).

What on earth is going on with my printer?
