Why are the questions I am asking not appearing on my profile?
The same problem was faced by me too. I tried everything but the question I asked was not appearing in my profile and I didn’t ask anonymously. But I finally found why this happened.When you ask a question there is a button “follow” just below your question which is automatically clicked i.e., it will be showing as “following”. You will receive notifications who followed your question, the question will also appear in your profile and you can also request the answer.But, here comes the problem. Once you stop following the question, the question no longer appears in your profile, you no longer receive notifications for who followed your question and if you start following your question again the problem remains the same. So, if you unfollow your question even once, the question won’t appear in your profile, doesn’t matter if you follow it again. This is the glitch that Quora is having.You will still receive notifications for answers if you follow it again. You can find your question in “your content” easily and you can still request answers for your questions.Hope this helps.

I get a LOT of questions I have to filter through and decide which I'll answer.Sometimes receive very good questions, yet don't have time to answer due to being preoccupied with real life. Why do teachers take so long to post grades?
seriously, some professors take like f*cking 13 days to just grade a stack of finals or a stack of essays to post up the grade. I procrastinate and I write long hard essays/papers/any sort of assignment 2 days before I submit them. And I don't do that bad either. Why would something like this take them so long.

There are almost always parts of questions that are unnecessary.If it still does not fit, type the rest into a document.On Windows, you can open the search bar by pressing the Windows button on your keyboard and search for the snipping tool. Click new screenshot, drag your mouse diagonally across the text, and release to take the screenshot. You can then right click to copy the picture into the question details like you are pasting into a normal document. On Mac, simply press Command+Shift+3 and drag your mouse to take the screenshot, find the file on your desktop, then open it and copy.That is how I usually would fit extra details into a question.Edit: This answer is now long outdated as question details no longer exist. You can still include links in your question though, so the method would work if you upload an image to a website like imgur, then link the image.

And by the way the above paragraph just took me about 20–30 seconds of typing.But often we feel that we should say more, which leads to more words to be typed and consuming more time for the writer. So as long as you can type as fast as you can, then it won’t affect you too much.Lastly and most importantly, writers, including me, sometimes research on the particular topic so we can add more reliable sources and references to our answers so as to benefit the readers as well.And sometimes some questions requires several years in school, few to more years of experience, or even a lifetime to answer.
