Yes, Republicans are serving the interests of wealth, as they have done for the past 40 years. They are putting the profits of doctors, hospitals, health insurance corporations and drug companies over the health and well being of US citizens.Keep in mind that during the implementation of the ACA, they did nothing to help make the system better. Instead they told people through fake fox news propaganda that the system was terrible. They cherry picked examples of people who had poor insurance prior who’s rates went up, ignoring completely the millions who gained insurance, sometimes for the first time in decades.Republicans implied that if they were in power, then they had a great plan for affordable health insurance that would serve all Americans. Trump said he would get rid of Obamacare and give the US Citizens something way better and more affordable on day one of his administration. He implied it was easy to fix health care, that he had it all figured out. The truth was Republicans had no plan to make health care better, and Trump was completely clueless about health care.Keep in mind that the ACA was the conservative idea of how to implement profit based insurance in the US devised by the conservative Heritage foundation. In fact the individual mandate idea came from the Heritage Foundation based on the idea that citizens should take personal responsibility for their health care by buying insurance.All that said, I think that we should be moving to an improved Medicare for All system. Start by making Medicare more like private insurance. Get rid of all the different parts and make it one policy like private that covers care, hospitalization and drugs. Get rid of the 20% copay and limit annual out of pocket expenses. Get rid of all deductibles, copays are enough. Add long term care as many citizens go bankrupt due to this cost. Lower the Medicare age to 50 and raise taxes to pay for it. This will lower the cost for people buying in the individual market. And increase premium support on the exchanges, limiting the amount any citizen has to pay for health care to 10% of income, while completely getting rid of deductibles which make the policy worthless.
What would happen if Obama used social media to undermine the Trump administration in retaliation for ending his legacy?
He wont do this.Obama has always had a tremendous respect for the office. He also won't undermine Trump for the simple reason that he knows how hard this job is to actually do.Trump is only now comprehending the task he has undertaken.More to the original point, Obama’s legacy is more secure than either of his predecessors and in time it's likely to be even more solid than any of his predecessors going back to Kennedy.Trump hasn’t ended his legacy and the current state of the Trump Administration will only serve as a sharp counterpoint to Obama’s successes.The best thing for ole Barry to do is sit tight until the next Democratic National Convention. Then he gives a traditionally Obamalike speech and reminds everyone of what it was like back when.The Republicans have a job of work ahead of them. They have to fix Obamacare without destroying the healthcare system. They have to cut spending, which means haircuts in their own districts which get back way more than they pay in and they have to deal with Trump.Obama just had to cope with Republicans. He didn't have to cut taxes or slash spending and he was the President. All he really had to do was make sure the Recession didn't trigger a global Depression. He did that. He passed Healthcare Reform. He disengaged from two foreign wars. He didn't start any new Wars.The Republicans haven't had a successful run at the Federal Level since the Mid Eighties. They aren't exactly proving themselves now.No Obama needs to keep his head down and enjoy his vacation for now. He has earned it.

Which speaks volumes about the job he did representing his side.The Democrats new love of John McCain is based solely upon the amount of political damage he did to the Republican Party by saving Obamacare.McCain’s actions were motivated by a purely selfish and egotistical need to strike at Donald Trump, who had succeeded, where McCain had failed.There was no thought about the good of the American people involved in his decision.There was no thought of the consequences to Republicans running for office in 2018 which had promised to repeal Obamacare, involved in McCain’s decision.To the very end, John McCain was a spoiled child who cared about nothing but himself.
Do people really believe that it is the Democrats’ fault that Trump's health care bill failed?
Well..to put on the “adult pants” and respond to this question, while it’s 99% not their fault that the “American” Healthcare Bill failed, it is 1% their fault they didn’t shadow the Bill like the Republicans did on theirs. Many Republican reports have written that this Bill was done without letting the Democrats give any suggestions, and some Republicans felt it was done without their suggestions until the last minute, and even then those suggestions were arse-backwards that what those Republicans proposed.The interesting observation with the Democrats currently is that they seem to be very weak against the media cycles are on everything Trump does, and that either they are quiet or not making the effort of being heard over-top of it. In a way, it’s a good strategy now because if they were to come out in force, the Trump side would claim they are “jealous of not winning”. By letting them go forth by overtaking the media, the Democrats may believe that they are giving them enough rope to hang themselves.But being quiet, sitting on their hands, being passive, etc., is not a way to help their/gain people either. Case in point: When the Democrats put out “their” healthcare, the Republicans touted, “We can do better”. But we find out that wasn’t so. And whatever they had, it was crap and a failure. So— the Democrats could have decided not to say anything about healthcare until they DO have something and the Republicans when their failed used their quietness as “it’s their fault”. The majority of the blame IS on the Republicans, however, the Democrats being passive about not joining in during that time, or telling Americans the truth in WHY they were not allowed to join in (I am guessing it’s because only a few elite Republicans wrote the darn gosh-awful thing, and Democrats ,WITH those ignored Republicans should have joined and come forward to expose this), for me, can be seen as a tiny percentage of fault.
