Why Are Republicans Such Sore Losers When All Indications Say The Should

Why didn't Ted Cruz endorse Donald Trump at the 2016 Republican National Convention?

Ted Cruz has his eye on 2020. While thoroughly unlikable no one can dispute that he is a very shrewd politician. He is taking a calculated risk that Donald Trump will get trounced in November and that the fledgling Trump “movement” will be nothing more than a “moment” and that he will be there standing strong amongst the wreckage of a Republican Party that just weathered Hurricane Donald.By refusing to endorse Trump he can show that he stood by his conservative principles even in the face of ferocious criticism and backlash. This will give him firm footing with establishment Republicans in 2020, will allow him to appeal to independents who found both Hillary and Trump detestable and would still manage to gain some of the loyal Trump supporters who saw their candidate crash and burn.Cruz went all-in on a Trump loss in 2016. And I’d say it’s a pretty good bet. He is setting himself up nicely for a 2020 showdown with President Hillary Clinton.

What signs/placements indicate a sore loser?

now I know most of us don't like to lose. but what placements dislike losing to a whole new level? they are very fiery in your face confrontational, and very forward to the point of coming off way too pushy?

i know someone with a lot of fire placements such as leo and aries, specifically if aries is in mercury and venus, perhaps topped off with a leo rising and mars? are these people usually major sore losers that throw tantrums? (im curious im looking at someone's birth chart and they said thats exactly what they are)

If Trump wins the GOP nomination, are there GOP senators who will absolutely not endorse and support him?

When Trump wins the GOP nomination the GOP will support him. If they support Hillary, or stand on the sidelines they are finished as a party. Many will support him in word, but deed, but who cares. Trump has enough foot soldiers that he only needs their verbal support. There are many sore losers and cry babies in politics and they are angry that Trump, a wealthy, successful outsider is taking away their power and beating them all badly. When all is said and done, the butt kissers (politicians), will line up with Trump so they can stay relevant and in power.

Why do liberals hate pick up trucks so dang much?

I use to own a 1972 3/4 tn. GMC, with "3 on the tree" and a 350 engine with factory a/c. I even use to play Glen Campbell's song in it, "I Love My Truck" and "A Country Boy Can Survive," by Hank Williams Jr. w/a M-40 sniper's rifle and Colt .45 military issue in it.

Liberals were never a problem!

What is wrong with simply counting every vote in close elections? Why are some people labeling this as promoting fraud or being a sore loser?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with counting every vote. Every vote should be counted. Every vote matters. Voting is one of the most powerful ways we as citizens can express our voice about what is going on in our country. However, I do understand the anger and suspicion on the part of some folks. They feel that the boxes of ballots turning up after the fact are a sign of fraud. I believe their suspicions are unfounded. In past elections, there were boxes upon boxes of ballots there were left uncounted and were found after the fact in the back of someone’s car or a storage room. I’m assuming these were early voters or absentee ballots that were forgotten during the frenzy of voting day. Imagine how you would feel if you took the time to vote in the election and then found that someone had negligently left your vote uncounted? I would be pretty angry. What makes this so very difficult is that the votes between the candidates are so close. It has to be maddening to the candidates to think they had won the election, only to be told - not so fast, we are still counting votes. And then the possibility of actually losing? Yes - their anger is understandable but it is really sour grapes to unilaterally make a statement that it is fraud.Republicans generally don’t want all the votes counted because history has shown that when there is a healthy turn out in the election, it goes in favor of the Democrats. Democrats want all the votes counted because it generally goes in their favor. So let’s ask ourselves why we should allow someone to win an election by suppressing votes? Is that in keeping with the democratic ideals upon which our Republic was founded? NO it is not. It is the approach of tyrants seeking to subvert the will of the people. This is America and the will of the people means something.

What are your thoughts on Senate Democrats referring a secret letter concerning Kavanaugh to the FBI for investigation?

Like a lot of things concerning this administration you have to wonder if we ever do get the whole story about someone. In this case Kavanaugh and his $200,000 sports tickets debt does sound some warning bells. The questions regarding his gambling debts indicates they might possibly know more than they could prove in a court of law but have sufficient indications to ask about, and now want to look into.Particularly in this office, lifetime position, judging others, you want an honest man with no secrets in his past that would leave him open to blackmail on future decisions. If the Republicans think that ignoring the reporting to the FBI is a political thing and they approve him and they’re wrong…what then? If it is purely politically motivated then the Republicans can have a press party with a real basis for a change. We did without a ninth judge for a year, we can wait a few more months and make sure that the occupant of this office won’t be an embarrassment.Well its a few weeks after this answer, and it seems that its more of another problem with Kavanaugh, an allegation of a drunken teen sexual assault on a fifteen year old girl while he was seventeen. If we wait longer, will we hear about the possible perjury he was suspected of? Then another thing?Sometimes time does have a way of opening up things. We should have a minimum time for investigations and not a rush to vote on someone for high office.
