Why Are Skinny People Fat

Are skinny people happier than fat people?

No, i know alot of fat people who are happy..

Who feels more pain fat people or skinny people?

So I almost hate to ask such a question but it is a on going argument between me and a friend. I'll keep my opinion out of this question to keep the question fair and unbiased as possible.

Question:
Lets say a flying object (maybe a baseball, rock, paintball or whatever) hit a person, one was a overweight person while one was a skinny person, on AVERAGE who would typically feel more pain from that object?

You can are welcome to explain your answer, but it isn't needed. Please remember I'm just asking for what would typically be the case between the two, not exceptions if so and so were to happen. Furthermore location of where the object hits would certainly be the same on the body between the fat and skinny person when comparing them but is not set to a single location rather the average of different locations on the body between the two. We are not arguing over certain locations rather the overall experience between a larger person and a skinny person in terms of pain felt.

Thanks

Do fat people cry more than skinny people?

Crying has nothing to do with the weight unless they are trying to carry a heavy heavy thing :)

Why do skinny people have outte belly button and fat people have innie belly buttons?

I usually notice that skinny people with an outte are skinny and they usually stay that way no matter how much they eat, but people who have an innie are fat and they usually stat fat, or idk, it jus seems like if your born with an outte your gonna b skinny but if your born with and innie your gonna be fat

Why do skinny people have stretch marks and some fat people don't?

Skin is created of 80% collagen and 4% elastin. When the elastin in your skin is damaged, a stretch mark is in turn created. One cause of Stretch marks is "hormones". When we gain and lose weight it affects the hormones in our body, and also the hormones in our skin.

During the times we are growing, certainly when women are pregnant, when guys are lifting weights, or growth during puberty, its true that your skin is expanding as your body is expanding. But these life changes are accompanied by a serious change in our hormones and a change in the metabolism in our skin. It is this, not the 'stretching', that is the cause of stretch marks.

The best way to treat stretch marks is to prevent them in the first place. The best way to do this is through the use of topical creams like retinoid products and alpha-hydroxy acids, combined with topical steroids.

Do skinny people have more endurance than fat people? And if they do, why?

Your last question first:  Yes, they do more resting and have shorter, more intense efforts  - doing more sets and fewer repsthan you [actually I'm guessing, here].  They also do more different lifts.Skinny peoplle have more endurance because they don't have to expend effort lugging around much body fat.  Look at elite male marathon runners - they are around 5% body fat.  Fat can be considered mostly inert, contrubuting only calories to the effort.  If you have a 60kg/132lbs runner and 5% body fat, he could run roughly to 200miles/300 km if he could only use his body fat for the effort.*  [Note that this is not metabolically possible].  The situation is slightly different for sprinters.  They have approximately the ssme percentage fat, but more muscle because the work rate per second is much higher and more muscle is needed to race fast.  You don't see sprinters effectively runnniong distance event because all the muscle is not used to produce the effort and is excess baggage, just as fat would be.  The situation is somewhat different for cyclists and speed skaters and their legs are more muscular than distance runners because these sports demand greater power production from the quads.Swimmers and triathletes need more muscle mass in their uper bodies since most of the effort in swimming is produced by the upper limbs and shoulders. You only need a relatively small muscle mass to run at faster than 6 min/mile pace.  Excess muscle and/or fat will slow you down.* very rough calculation:  5% x 132 ~ 6.5 lbs of body fat x 3500 Kcal/lb ~ 22,000 and at 100+ Kcal/mile gives slightly more than 200m miles/300 km at a fairly fast pace.

Are fat people more confident than skinny people?

I’d like to answer your question by referring you to a brilliant writer on Medium, Your Fat Friend. In our society, no one goes unpunished. Both skinny and fat people receive unsolicited commentary about their bodies.“Wow, you’re so skinny! Eat a cheeseburger.”“Have you tried the keto diet?”“Ugh, I wish I had your thighs.”However, as reflected by some of the previous answers in this thread alone, we’ve long believed in the thin privilege. The brilliant writer, Your Fat Friend, describes this as, “A disdain that is often borne of a deep, uncontested belief that thin people are superior to fat people in nearly every way. After all, they must be smart enough to understand thermodynamics and dietetics; moral enough to understand their obligation to remain thin; have the strength of will and character to stick to a plan; exhibit the determination to work out every day. Even if they have always been thin. Even if they don’t do any of those things.”When fat people walk about in the world, they must fit into clothes bought online, or special-ordered. Airplane seats, chairs, bar stools—are unaccommodating of fat bodies.Again, as YFF says, “I only bring up my feelings about being a fat person after knowing someone for some time. But, with startling regularity, new acquaintances, dates and strangers offer diet advice, trial gym memberships, even once a recommendation for a surgeon. My life as a fat person is a barrage of weekly, daily, hourly offers of unsolicited advice. At first, the detailed answers, the constant defense, the explanation of my daily diet and medical history are ineffective — no answer is sufficient. Over time, it becomes burdensome, then exhausting, then frustrating. And it doesn’t seem to cross the minds of most people I meet that I’ve heard what they’ve said before — not just once, but over and over again, in great detail. I have a forced expertise in diets, exercise regimens, miracle pills, and the science of weight loss.” (Your Fat Friend)The “fat” confidence that you perceive is born of bravery. Of existing in a world that insists something about you is wrong. Of owning a body constantly rejected, shamed, ridiculed.

Why do fat people lose weight faster than skinny people?

It takes more calories just to be alive at 200 lbs. than at 100 lbs. The heavier person will need to burn more calories to move that weight, than the smaller person moving theirs. As the larger person loses weight, the rate of loss will slow down. When the caloric intake meets the calories needed to move, if more weight loss is needed, calories will need to be reduced again.Eat for the weight you want to be. The rate of loss will be slower, but you’ll be resetting your habits to patterns you can responsibly stick to, once you have achieved your goal.

Why am I skinny but still have belly fat?

You are skinny fat. When someone is skinny fat, they appear thin when they have clothes on or when you look at them from a distance. However, when you see them with their clothes off and look at their body up close, they actually have more body fat than you thought.See this guy?He looks thin when he has clothes on, right? But look at his body up close when he has no shirt on:This is Margot Robbie with her clothes on. You would think she’s thin, right?Look at her body in bikini:Notice something about both individuals? Both look thin when they have clothes on but when they reveal their bodies and you look at them closely, both people actually have more fat than you thought. If someone is lean (meaning they have low fat percentage), you would be able to see their abs and their bodies wouldn’t jiggle a lot (especially their upper arms, thighs, and bellies). Most skinny fat people are the way they are because they don’t lift heavy weights or do any resistant training. Skinny fat people have low muscle mass. Their fat percentage is high compared to their muscle mass.Skinny fat people also tend to do excessive cardio and eat low calories.Cardio is not going to balance your muscle mass and fat percentage. Lifting does.
