Why Are Some Jewelry Bracelets Necklaces Etc. Monthy Payment

What is the best method to store necklaces/jewelry?

Sterling silver jewelry will oxidize very quickly if it is left exposed to the elements. Intricate pieces of all metals will quickly pick up dust and soot from the air and lose their detailed craftmanship under the dirt, and many stones and pearls can easily be affected by changes in temperature, humidity and exposure to sunlight over time. Safety suggests that keeping all your jewelry out on a display stand and exposed to all to see is not the best idea. Do you really trust every single person who enters your home THAT much that you would leave your diamond studs laying around or your grandmother's pearl choker on a pedestal, waiting for sticky fingers to come by?Invest in a well crafted and well thought out jewelry box and you will never regret it. Make sure there are multiple levels, slots for rings, boxes of different sizes to keep different size earrings together, and larger spaces for bangles and cuffs. It should be long enough in  width to lay your necklaces down flat if they are easily tangled.Use tiny zip lock backs liberally. EVERY jewelry store on earth uses them behind the scenes to keep things organized and clean long term for storage until it's time to display the piece. For sterling silver jewelry, zip lock bags are critical to long term maintenance. Put a piece of sterling in a zip lock, put a strip of anti-tarnish paper inside the bag, push all the air out before you close it, and then drop it in a jewelry box with a lid that closes tightly. You can rest assured that 20 years from now that piece of jewelry will still look brand new. That same piece will be black from tarnish in 3 months on a beautiful but nonfunctional stand and if you don't clean it regularly will soon be so dirty you will never wear it again. This is even more true for 14K Gold vermeil, which turns ugly brown very quickly if you don't keep it sealed up. Even solid gold benefits from being kept sealed; it keeps dust and particulate matter in the air (soot, oil, perfume, etc.) from attaching to the metal and dulling the shine over time. Anyone who has worn a gold piece for years will know exactly what I mean; it just gets dull and needs to be cleaned once in a while to return it to that classic warm glow. Leaving gold out on a counter does exactly the same thing. With the price of gold these days, that would truly be criminal!

Why does my cat try to eat my silver jewelry. She attacks my necklaces, body piercings, etc... Why?

*Correction* she is a 4 month old kitten. I know that kittens are curious, as I have had plenty of cats,, but it's also like she can smell the Stirling silver... she found my navel ring through my shirt...

Not once in the 10+ cats I have had growing up have they tried to do this...and I can't find much on google.

My ex still wears our matching ring and bracelet, what does that mean?

My ex and I broke up about a month ago because we are at two different points in our lives. I'm ready to settle down and party less (I'm 23 and in grad school) and he's 22 but his priorities aren't the same as mine. He still likes partying and isn't ready to be a responsible grown up yet. He was a nice boyfriend. He quit smoking while he dated me because he knew I didn't like it. I never asked. He quit voluntarily. He was really flirty with girls and stopped that too. He stopped talking to a lot of his female friends and focused on me.

Since then, I see him here and there. He's smoking again, flirting with those girls again, etc. But, he's also still wearing some matching rings we bought on our pinky finger and the matching bracelets we bought on our first date. It really confuses me. We don't talk or anything. We've only talked once since then and it was a nice talk. We laughed like usual. He asked me what I've been up to and seemed happy to be talking to me like normal again.

My question is: what the heck is going on? How does he go back to smoking, flirting with other girls, maybe even dating, but then still wear the ring and bracelet in front of me? I'm not wearing any of those things anymore and he can see that, yet he still wears his...I'm confused. We ended our relationship saying we still loved each other but agreed that timing in our lives was not right, so I'm just confused...

How do I get scratches out from my sterling silver bracelet?

I have a medic alert bracelet that's sterling silver. It cost quite a bit of money too! I've only had it for a month and a half and it has tons of scratches on it already. Any ideas?

What's the best jewelry to sell on Shopify?

I think that this question needs some re-framing.First of all, Shopify is only a platform where you can sell ‘stuff’.Nothing makes Shopify better when selling necklaces and worse when selling bracelets as compared to other platforms like WooCommerce, Magento and the likes. All of them are ‘product agnostic’.So, what you have to ask yourself is:“What specific piece of jewelry can I sell online, at a price that yields a profit and, very very important, for which I’ll be able to find an audience that I can target and get traffic from?”.Once you have that nailed down, yeah, go and publish it in your Shopify store.
