Why are the freshmen so mean?
There could be multiple reasons. Cliche' as it may sound: they're being treated badly at home, they're behaving as their peers expect them to, they're compensating for the fact that they're "new" with a bad attitude to appear cool, hormones, etc. Seriously though, don't worry about it :) If someone calls you ugly, turn around and look right at 'em and say, "Who peed in YOUR cheerios?" and walk away... XD No, but forreal, don't worry about it :) I'll tell you something my mom told me when I was in high school. "It only matters what people think if you want it to matter at all" ~ and that is very true! YOUR attitude means everything, not what they say. Do what you have to, keep your head up, and stick with people who kick it well with you. Ignore those other clowns. That's all they are, afterall :)
Why are upperclassmen so mean to freshman?
Honestly, it's life. They were freshman once and went through it. Give it a week and it'll stop, really. It's overrated you don't get bullied all through your freshman year. It's that upperclassman are so ready to get out of school and tired of it, that honestly annoying freshman being loud and giddy and silly about school is beyond aggravating.
Why are freshman girls so mean and B;tchy?
I was walking in the hallway,and this dude was with this girl and they playing around.This dude bumped in to me then said to the girl''see what you did,you made me bump into blackie over here.(the dude wasnt much lighter neither BTW.) Then the dude said to me,''ay man,she wanna go wit you.''then the girl said right in front of me, ''hell naw,that ***** ugly.''I just kept walking,and she said it again.Why was she so cruel and rude,saying that right in front of me.She didnt have to say all that.Why do girls like here act so bitchy to me for no reason.She dont even know me and i did nothing at all to her.And i think the dude got a joy out of her calling me ugly,Why? I dont know.
Why are people at my school so mean to freshman?
Just today I heard one of my teachers say "freshman are dumb." People often tease one girl in my second hour do being friends with freshman. There was once a fight between two kids one person identified as freshman and a teacher said "freshman" in a sarcastic way. I constantly hear students and teachers alike say such awful things about them and I hate it. I never heard anyone talk this when I was freshman, and the freshman never did anything to warrant this (I've talked to a few and they were better than most people my grade). I'm starting to feel guilty to go to a place where even the adults are partaking in bullying!
Why are high school seniors so mean to the freshmen?
Ever since I got to high school most seniors have been rude and sarcastic. I've had a senior prank me and told me the wrong direction to go to a classroom and it lead me to a class of upperclassmen also in their grade so they laughed and snickered as I walked in. At first I really thought they were 9th graders too because freshmen and seniors seem to look so similar nowadays (9th graders don't seem to look much younger than them with all the makeup and clothes they wear). They also made the first table of the cafeteria for seniors only and the school administrators didn't even enforce that rule! They did it themselves and they act like they're adults and so grown when they probably don't know anything about being outside of high school yet.
Why do upperclassmen treat freshman so badly?
ooh i remember my highschool years like it was yesterday. i remember i hated alot of the freshmen, but only the ones that were immature. just like i hated immature seniors. and i also remember being a freshman and i wasn't immature at all as a freshman, but some upperclassmen think that all freshmen are immature. as for charmaine's answer, almost every guy thinks of women's curves the same way you do. heck, sometimes i have to set my boyfriend straight when he stares at other women haha. i'm sure there are some guys in charmaine's class that look at that girl's butt too, dont worry about it. but some of the freshman i loved so much, even as a senior, because most of them still have that really young look to them, so they're kinda cute (i wouldn't have dated a freshman, but still) and some of them are so full of energy, but not to the point where they're immature, so some of them are so fun to be around.
What Does Freshman Friday Mean?
It was a tradition of hazing the new freshman on the part of the seniors. During the first week on Friday, the seniors would play pranks on the freshmen. I'm not sure what the point of it was except that it was a tradition. You can't do it anymore. Most schools are so afraid of white people with lawsuits that an especially strong fart gets you expelled nowadays. When I was a freshman someone blasted the fire extinguisher at us coming up the stairs. 15 people went tumbling back down. When it was my turn as a senior I went nerd bowling, where you slide a large book down a hallway and knock people over. It was all in good fun. I think people were built tougher in those days, possibly due to the fact that we beat the crap out of eachother all the time.

lol i hate freshmen too..im a junior.. i don't go bullying them around but they're soo annoying and immature but we were all freshmen at one point i didnt get it either when i was a freshman..but when i was a sophomore i felt superior and you think you really fit in you dont lol im a junior and i cant stand sophomores because they feel superior to freshmen when in fact they're no better . im pretty sure once im a senior i'll dislike juniors too.. don't get me wrong i have friends in all grades, im just speaking in general . thats my perspective on the situation
Why do seniors date freshmen in high school?
I think I can properly answer this one based off pure observations.There's a reason people say, “If you're a freshman, don't date seniors.”One is fourteen, and the other seventeen. Give or take. That's might not seem like a big age difference, but when you're young, four years is a major gap in maturity. One just got out of middle school, and the other is about to go into college.The seniors know the maturity gap is there. And they will date freshmen girls because they know they are impressionable and new to the high school system.I met a senior once who only dated freshmen girls because they weren't aware of his reputation. That he, of course, only dates for sex. He and his freshman girlfriend were caught by a teacher in the school barn, the girl performing oral sex. Her response? “Oh, but he brought me a blanket for my knees. That was sweet of him.” Fact of the matter is: she doesn't quite grasp the concept of how wrong that was.Actually, he wasn't the only senior I met who would only date freshmen girls for these sorts of things, but his was the most scandalous.Other purposes exist as well, such as the senior knowing that the freshmen can be easily manipulated and controlled because of the obvious power imbalance.Next time you see a senior interested in a freshmen consider this: what's wrong with them that they can't find someone their own age?Edit:Sure, exceptions exist, but they're uncommon, and I have yet to see a good freshman and senior relationship. Intentions might be good and they might be a genuinely good and normal person, and I'd hope that’s the case, but it seems to me like they're usually not, and rare exceptions to this rule are not universal.
