Why are bass players so overlooked in most bands?
John Paul Jones literally destroyed in the Lemon Song. Now then, the reason why is because, and this is a stupid common quote. "People pick up the bass because they can't play guitar." Also, people in bands usually think "Oh. Bassist, go all the way low. You're just gonna carry the song slightly." Usually these bands tend to suck in my opinion. The bassist can be just as creative as other instruments. As a matter a fact, the more popular bands back in the day, tend to have good bass players. Now then, my thoughts? VERY ignorant statement. I play the bass cause I enjoy it. Not because I thought guitar was hard. Irony of the statement? Over 90% of the people who pick up the guitar suck at it and took little time to learn it. Now then, it's just ignorance in pure essence of music. Victor Wooten for example works VERY hard at the bass guitar and it's shown profoundly. Also, some bands do give recognition to their bassists, so don't worry too much. The Who recognized that their bassist was what kept them going good and so did the people listening. Not to mention Weather Report. Thanks to Jaco Pastorious who helped to lift them off to their own thing.
What are some of the amazing employment opportunities in agriculture that most people overlook?
Ag needs all kinds of jobs aside from the act of the production side of farming and ranching. Engineers, mechanics, sales, scientists, plant and animal breeders, vets, human resources, marketing, everything. One thing I’ve discovered is there are many people involved in ag in some way who did not grow up with a farm background. Several people I’ve met in this position have stated once they entered ag and saw how farmers and ranchers accepted them into the fold they decided to stay in ag.
What is that most people overlook in their personal relationship?
Overlook isn't the right word. I think no matter how judgemental a person is, they should be accepting of their own “human-ness” and therefore more accepting of their partner's human-ness. If priority is something superficial like the way they laugh, the size or shape of their body, or what they drive, then the problem isn't with the partner at all. It is with the person who feels they have to “overlook” poor choices. They think they are better than the other person and should focus a little more on humility and their own shortcomings. Deep character issues such as addiction or infidelity are something you shouldn't “overlook” because of the instability and lack of trust these provide for the relationship. But it is up to the partner if they chose to tackle these problems. One cannot make these changes for the other person. It's an integrity issue for sure. If something is undermining the integrity of the relationship or one's mental health or emotional stability it should not be accepted or overlooked. Everything else? Yes. I'm sure there are things that you hope they'd be accepting of too. Because these things have nothing to do with them.
Why do shy guys get overlooked by girls?
I guess the main question says it all. Everyone i know has told me i seem really shy. I don't mean to be, i get along with everyone yet romantic inclinations seem to be far and few between. the few girls that do seem interested usually seem to be utterly insane (like calling me every night at 4am, or stalking me). So why do shy guys get overlooked by SANE girls?

Why are more talented musicians overlooked?
many extrememly talented musicians from (steve vai, alexi laiho and the like) looked over and disregarded, and instead rappers and less talented more single minded musicians are aparantly smash hits? shouldnt music be about skill and heart not what the media says?

Those movies are on my personal list, and I appreciate them very much.Also, if you already didn't, do not read the book before you watch the movie, because you won't be satisfied with the movie after you've read Catch-22. I’m gonna go with something recent. Probably “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. I found “Perfect” to be extremely endearing though. I feel like a lot of people were just “singing” the song, and not really capturing the emotion behind it (not that that’s a bad thing).
