Short-story anthology question?

I'm thinking of creating a collection of the short-stories I've written. Some pieces have a quote at the end of them, that have been said by famous people/writers, etc. Would this be allowed if I followed all the correct copyright and credit laws? How would I go about this?

Thanks!

How do Quora, Yahoo Answers and similar Q&A sites ensure a minimum answer rate for new questions posted on their site?

The short answer is that they can't. If you look more closely at most dedicated Q&A sites (i.e Q&A sites that are not owned by specific businesses / organisations where there is a commercial incentive to answer), a very high percentage of questions go unanswered. The challenge for the Q&A site is to grow the community to the point where they gain a critical mass of users. Sites like Quora (more so than Yahoo Answers) do an excellent job of surfacing related questions or topics that the user is following. This helps to drive answer rates but its the social glue (following, updates, notifications, etc.) that is baked into Quora that really makes it stand out compared to some of the original (and still much larger) Q&A sites. So the bottom line is - they can't ensure minimum answer rates but they can and do optimise to maximise answer rates. Hope this helps.
