With elaboration as to why, what city, or cities, in your country would you pick as the new capital city?

Indian here. In a heartbeat I'll pick Kolkata. Why?Yes many will not agree with me however, it had been the capital of British India once and it can be made again as well.Geographically, its not too far north like Delhi. Being from north east this will be such a boon for us and our struggling economy.Today's Kolkata is no longer like in its golden days but with a competent government the city can surely rise up like a phoenix from the ashes. The city's infrastructure is not bad at all. Public transport, healthcare and educational institutions are one of the best. It just need new investments, improvement of various sectors like banking, IT, etc and an efficient governmental policy.Culture wise, the people are the assets of the city. Their festivals like Durga Puja is insane. The city is rich in traditions, music and literature. The people pretty much have a modern outlook than most other parts of the country. Bengalis are known to be smart and talented. Women are more independent than the rest of India, this is similar to the NE states. They're able to reproduce their thoughts process beautifully in words. They're not too orthodox or have a morality high ground like other indian communities. If you eat meat, Bengalis won't bother you and they don't go around closing dance bars like in Mumbai or raising the drinking age to 25.On a lighter note both the North Easterners and the Bengalees have one thing in common: Football.

Does anyone have any really cool useless but facts?

For example:
The population of New York is 409 people per square mile.
The population of Texas is 79 people per square mile.
If you moved everyone in the world into Texas, all of us could live in Texas at the same population per square mile as New York.

Peanuts are one of the ingredients of dynamite.
Polar bears are left handed.
