Why Are They Yelling And Laghing

Why do I laugh whenever I am getting yelled at?

It can be a physical reaction to feeling a certain emotion (being nervous, uncomfortable, fearing, etc..even anger). I've definitely laughed at some very serious situations (but couldn't figure out why) and then felt embarrassed. People do it all the time at funerals and other seemingly inappropriate situations. It's just a reaction. It doesn't mean you think it's funny. For example, dogs tend to yawn when they get nervous or uncomfortable. It doesn't always mean that they are tired.

How can I stop laughing when teachers yell at me?

You have a nervous laughter (we do it to seem inferior and submissive), but in out modern day society it is considered very rude.I suggest you just simply behave, if this teacher is yelling at you, it is for a reason, most likely your being naughty. So just behave, if you cant behave (dont know why that would be an option) you could always say "sorry sir/miss I have a nervous laughter).

Why do I grin/laugh when being yelled at?

Some people cry, stay stony faced and others such as yourself laugh. When my parents would shout at me I would do any one of the three.I simply think the reason some of us laugh is because you’re uncomfortable and our natural instincts are to “extinguish” stressful situations. Like when my sister was learning to drive she almost drove the car off the road and crashed it but I just starting laughing in panic.I also knew that smiling when my parents would fight with me would make them annoyed because to them it seemed I didn’t care and I wanted to show them I didn’t give one f**k . In the end I would feel like I won because they didn’t get what they wanted and would be even angrier (I know, it’s horrible but that’s what happens when you go through a rebellious stage XD). As soon as I knew my dad was really angry I would quit the smiling because he would discipline me if I continued tot disrespect them (which I’m grateful for because if he didn’t I would have turned out a wreck and walked all over my parents), so then I just stayed stony faced.

Is it wrong if my mom yells at me for laughing so loudly and uncontrollable that my stomach hurts after watching a video? If it is, then my mom's horrible. Is it normal to make someone mad because you told them to stop laughing?

I nonchalantly tend to shake my legs when concentrating or simply relaxing, I tend to put my elbows on the table, I used to serve my self first before guests. Parents instill upon us certain behavior and social etiquette norms. Whether they are right or wrong does not matter. They do what they believe is right and with good intentions. You may not realize it but laughing loudly can be considered very rude in certain settings. A family at a restaurant shouting and laughing, People laughing at a hospital not realizing that others are crying or worried about a loved one right next to them. Smiling or making jokes at a funeral. Making fun of the groom in front of his family and bride just because you were childhood friends.Parents are not always right, but until we are old enough to be independent, it would be good to make note of when they are correcting you.

When someone yells at me I always start laughing?

I have had a problem ever since I was little where sometimes when I'm being yelled at or scolded for something I can't contain my laughter. I don't know why. Is this normal?

BTW I have no mental disorders or anything like that

What happens if you laugh when the drill srgnt is yelling in your face in the army?

Having spent 28 years in the British Military I have never heard of anyone having the temerity to laugh in the face of a drill sergeant. I have seen plenty of people cry, but never laugh, my god no. I was once told that a drill sergeant had amazing powers, he could make the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk and the dumb talk, he could not, however, make the dead rise, that is the province of god, however he was working on it. On saying that, the only time it was permissible to crack a grin at a drill sergeant was when he cracked a one liner, of which they have many. My favourite was from an Irish sergeant whose line was "Don't come the old soldier with me son, get some time in first, I was in Baghdad before you was in your bloody dads bag" it never failed to cause a snicker or two.

Why do i laugh when the teacher yells at me?

The teacher may have had a bad way of communicating. If you have had this punishment before, without effect, he has shown bad learning. He may have become emotionally involved. Otherwise, you may have been laughing out of habit, to pretend to your classmates that you don't care what he does to you, or to boast that you care so little about the school's punishments that you are willing to take them for no reason.

Why do the veins in my neck pop out when I yell or laugh?

Elevated pressure, like when you laugh, cause those vessels to become more distinct.

Has any drill sergeant, while yelling at recruits, ever started laughing mid-sentence?

Not so much laughing, as pure astonishment. When I went through boot camp back in the day, in Orlando Florida, on our final day, we had a Pass In Review as part of the Graduation ceremony. Understand, I was the Starboard Watch LPO, in charge of half of the company and more or less responsible for these fellow recruits. So we’re all lined up in our dress whites, immaculate, squared away, ready to march down as a company to the parade ground. Our Company Commander (the Navy’s version of the DI back then) was getting in his final butt-chewing, moving slowly along the ranks, “inspecting” us one last time.Suddenly, I hear him call out. “Recruit Petty Officer Harrison! Git yer scrawny ass down heah!” I took one step forward, did a left face, and double-timed to where he was standing in front of one of the recruits, pointing his finger at the poor sod. Coming to attention, I bellowed. “Recruit Petty Officer Harrison reporting as ordered, SIR!”“Who in the name of Beelzebub and all his unholy host is THAT, you miserable excuse for a non-com?” he asked.I blinked, “Sir, that’s Recruit Preston.”“And how long has this thing been in my company?”“Since day one, sir.““Well, then why don’t I recognize him?”“Sir, Preston has been an exemplary recruit. I don’t think he’s done anything to bring himself to your negative attention.”The CC paused. “Harrison, are you telling me that you were going to let this Preston graduate without EVER having been properly cycled, by me, his beloved Company Commander?”Now, there’s no good answer to that question. So with a fatalistic shrug, I replied honestly. “Yes, sir.”The CC stared at me, boggled. He glanced at Preston, then back at me, then back to Preston. “Son, I am truly sorry to do this to you when you’re all gussied up, pretty as a picture. I cannot allow you to graduate without being cycled. It’s just not right. For the sin of not ensuring it happened earlier, Recruit Petty Officer Harrison will join you.”And with that, he stepped back, and bellowed. “Down!” We both dropped to the floor. in the pushup position, nose against the deck. “Half way up!” And we rose to elbows at 90 degrees. And there he left us, shaking his head, and completed his inspection of the remainder of the company in silence. But his heart just wasn’t in it. I think the fact that someone had been in the company for twelve weeks, and never once screwed up, and so wasn’t recognized, threw him off his game… ;)
