Why are Ty Beanie Babies so valuable?
They were very popular collectors items back in the day. A Princess Diana bear sold for over $350,000. The ones that are most valuable are the ones with mistakes on the tags. Without the tags themselves, the price goes down very low. I have Howl the Wolf, he is rare but isn't valuable. The ones that are real valuable are the ones with mistakes and the originals, not just the uncommon ones! To answer your question, they're valuable because they don't make the real good ones like they used to.
How much are my beanie babies?
Something similar to this happened to my friend once and she wanted to know how much they were worth, too, so she tried to look at Beanie Baby Price Guides online, except they are almost useless because the value of Beanie Babies change so quickly. Beanie Babies cost around $10-20 each, but some cost even more. One of the first Beanie Babies ever to be made was once auctioned for $4000! You can always look at the retail price online at this website: http://www.barrysbeanies.com/generic31.html The prices may not be exact, but you could probably get an idea of how much your Beanie Babies are worth. I really hoped that I helped! P.S. You're lucky that you have the Princess Diana one. I used to collect some Beanie Babies, and I know that that one is a good one. I have that one, too! My grandma got it for me.

I can't write a price guide for you but I looked thru 100's (really) of completed sales listings in ebay and found that people were asking for 1/2 million for a princess and thousands bucks for others none sold. Where is the best place to sell Beanie Babies?
Most Beanie Babies aren’t worth more than $2-$3. If you’re selling online, you’ll need enough to cover shipping and fees associated with online marketplaces. Because of this, it’s usually best to sell them in lots. Few buyers will pay $3 plus shipping for a single Beanie Baby, but they might spend $20 plus shipping on a lot of 40 Beanie Babies.Of all marketplaces, eBay is one of the best places to sell them. You can search the sold items to get an idea of what you may be able to sell your collection for.Mercari is another great place to sell them. Their heavily discounted shipping rates are awesome for shipping large lots of Beanie Babies.Depop is much smaller than eBay and Mercari, but their audience brings in a lot of millennials and generation Z shoppers looking for 80’s and 90’s nostalgia. In fact, many of their featured sellers theme their shops with those sort of items.
Which Beanie Babies, if any, are saught out by collectors?
Well, to be honest, I’m not much of a Beanie Baby collector, nor have I ever been. However, there was one I can think of that very well could be sought out by certain collectors. One of which was manufactured as a collector’s item to commemorate the loss of Princess Diana of Wales in the following weeks after her death. The collector’s item is actually very scarce, to be exact. And is quite capable of reaching a fair collector’s value of $500k on eBay. This rare Beanie Baby is commonly known by many collectors as “Princess the Bear”.Here’s a picture of what it sort of looks like:Hope this answers your question…—Travian Price, Quoran Author since 2017
