I take it by the question that you have never been in South Central Nevada where Area 51 is located, questioner.Groom Lake, the dry lake bed where the installation is located, is roughly 15-20 MILES from the closest inhabited area which is the small town of Rachel. That 15-20 miles of some of the harshest, most unpleasant terrain in the world, where summer temperatures soar far above 100 degrees Fahrenheit DAILY. There would be few practical reasons to be in the area and none which didn't include the base in some manner as you could never just wander around and stumble upon it.Anyway, well before you and the potential killer ever got close to the facility’s perimeter, you would encounter the security forces guarding it. They have long range cameras, ground sensors and very likely employ drones that monitor the area, so they'll know that you are there well before you ever see the site in the distance. They will intercept both you and your assailant, and determine why you are there. If you have a weapon or your assailant does, you'll be disarmed; if you resist, you'll be shot. They won't be playing any games with either of you.You'll both be held until an FBI agent or agents with the proper clearance can come to the facility to determine your intent. Since you already trespassed onto a government facility that has national security restrictions (Did I mention that Area 51 is already on the Nevada Test site, which means that you have to trespass onto that before you get to the base?) your asking for an attorney will fall on deaf ears. Thé FBI agents will question you both, you will be arrested and taken to Las Vegas, thé nearest major city, and held until your arraignment. That's when you'll be able to speak with an attorney.Anyway, the scenario you described would never happen, questioner, as the site is located more than a dozen miles across very dangerous desert from any inhabited area. You would more likely die from thirst or exposure than you would be to attempt to hide from, or flee, a murderer even before you got to security zone around the site, or even reach the site itself. The security teams surrounding the facility would intercept you both, take you into custody and allow the civilian authorities to sort out the matter.
How come Nobody is Allowed to enter AREA 51?
Haven't you ever seen Independence Day? lol, no seriously, there are military compounds that aren't meant to be out in the open or allow civilians to just come on in. Try and enter any military base without reason, not just Area 51. Good luck.
Why are we not allowed near area 51?
I don't know about Aliens and all that. I did hear that they simply don't want knowledge of classified military projects getting into the wrong hands. Which makes enough sense I guess. My friends uncle from Oklahoma works with military planes & he told us how once he and some other employees had to go to Area 51 & they were put on a windowless bus and when the got there they were all issued ID's and they were told If they were caught anywhere on base without the ID's they would be shot on sight. He said they stayed in these rooms under complete surveillance and one morning one of the guys couldn't find his ID and everyone started to panic looking for it and then a voice came over the intercom telling them exactly were the missing ID was. Pretty weird. Anyway why is everything so strict and kept secret there ?

It ISN'T.Like everyone else, I have seen those documentaries where guys try to approach this legendary place and get warned off by heavily armed militia, then show planes taking off from Las Vegas with blacked-out windows – and get told by officials that there is no such PLACE as Area 51. Plus the base’s borders have been pushed back now, so you cannot even see the place through long lenses.All of which means “THEY” really want to keep the place SUPER hush-hush, right? But since I had heard Dead-eye Dick Cheney’s place was PIXELISED on the service (Dead-eye was probably sunbathing nude when the satellite went over – and NO-ONE wants to see THAT) I was not expecting much.How wrong I was.I input “groomlakenevada”, the ACTUAL name of the area (figuring Google Earth would hardly be likely to respond to “Area 51”) and after floating round the dried-up lake for a few seconds, I spotted an airstrip, with roads and buildings. It LOOKED like the right place. I zoomed down and as I approached the ground, a flag came up.It said – “Area 51”!WHAT???! Yes. In fact, I discovered you can just input “area51” and save yourself the chore of searching Groom Lake. And the satellite picture is as sharp and clear as DAY. With the airstrip, roads and buildings – even craters where they tested nukes in the Fifties – all clearly labelled as points of interest.Of course, conspiracy theorists will say the pics have been doctored – but HOW? I mean, it is all THERE. Everything you would expect to see on a military base in the desert. What the hell did they EXPECT to see? Back-engineered flying saucers parked on the hanger aprons?I suspect that all of that security on the ground is only there to stop a working military base being overrun by geeks, nerds, cranks, weirdos – and umpteen TV documentary crews making yet ANOTHER bloody programme about the “mysterious” goings-on at Area 51!
AREA 51--Roswell. Could this area be a decoy to cover-up the real site doing what Area 51 is suppose to do?
We know what Area 51 is suppose to be doing with flying saucers and captured aliens, etc. Suppose the government wants us to believe that's what it is doing to throw off speculation of a real site that is actually doing what we think Area 51 is doing. A site that is so top secret that everyone who works there lives there for the rest of their life. Possibly, the military knows how to fly those space craft and are the ones causing the UFO sightings. What do you think?
Can the POTUS go to Area 51?
Yes, the president can go to Area 51. He is above Need to Know and is the only person in government that I'm aware who can de-classify any information he wants without repercussion. IE. Like Trump did early in his administration when he accidentally provided confidential intelligence information to the Russian Foreign Minister and ambassador.There would need to be security arrangements made ahead of time and his staff would need to be vetted and cleared but he himself is entitled to know anything he wants on the facility. It's one of the fundamental principles of the civilian control of the military.There are instances where information is deliberately withheld from the president, for example in WWII FDR was kept uninformed on certain details regarding decryption of Axis diplomatic and military codes. But this wasn't so much a matter of “the president isn't allowed to see this" as it is “the president can't ask to see this if he doesn't know about it".Presidents oversee a massive national security apparatus employing millions of people across dozens of departments. It's not physically possible for them to have in-depth knowledge of all of them, which is why he relies on his cabinet, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the National Security Council to provide him with necessary briefs on the most important and pertinent information. But if the president orders one of his cabinet or JCS or NSC members to provide him with specific information, legally they can't refuse, all they can legally do is give him what he wants or resign. This includes Area 51, which is really just one of several highly classified military installations.

Are you able to keep a secret? Are you working for the bad guys?The people who have access to places like “Area 51” have been investigated and appear to be low security risks.Nobody knows if you’re dangerous to yourself or others. Are you allowed to enter the containment dome at a nuclear power plant? Are you allowed to enter an operating room while surgery is taking place?The people who have access to places like “Area 51” have been trained to recognize and deal with industrial hazards - chemical, electrical, moving equipment, things like that.Realize that it’s not just secret military facilities the general public is barred from visiting. Any military base is off-limits unless you’re in the military, you work for the military, you have official business there, you’re retired military, you’re on an official tour of the base, or you’ve been invited there for some other reason. Even if you’re authorized to be on a military base, it’s very likely there will be areas you’re not allowed to be in except for authorized activities such as classified spaces or the flight line at air bases.In short, it’s all about safety and security.
What would happen if i went to Area 51?
If you do not obey all laws then the government considers you a threat. Just be lucky you have not been called a terrorist and imprisoned with out a trial never to be heard from again. But you do pose a good question. After all it's our taxes that paid for the place we should be able to declare partial ownership of all government property. But instead the government has declared ownership over everything and tells us if we don't like it we'll be prosecuted if we resist we'll be shot.
