Why are white people so arrogant?
They think they're so perfect and they think they're better than everyone. They also think that white criminals don't exist and that all the bad things in the world are caused by non whites. White people also like complaining about non whites to feed their egos i.e complaining about minorities ordering their steak well done or complaining about minorities not tipping. White people think they are gods gift to mankind and that they are the only "civilised" demographic in the world. Basically white people think all non whites are: Scammers. Rapists. Terrorists. Cheap. Smell bad. Talk funny. Tell me the last time a white kid got bullied because of his accent or because of the food he eats like how white people bully Indians(asia) because of the food they eat and their "accent".
Why do racist white people say that blacks sold their own people as an excuse to why slavery was right?
Aside from the fact that all black people aren't of the same nation or tribe to begin with, why would this be a response to justify racism? Do they also think that if a man sold his young daughter to some old, fat man who used her for his... pleasure, that she should be blamed and/or that the fat man's actions are justified because her own father sold her?
Why is racism really only an issue in Western countries? That's why the term “white racism” was invented, it ultimately stems from white people. Am I wrong?
I am going to go a bit against many of the answers here. Racism by the understanding of the US government is somewhat confined to the US (but not even to Europe).However, racism due to skin color exists very much outside Western countries. For example, in Indonesia having an East Asian look (i.e. light colored skin with black hairs etc) would subject you to anti-Chinese racism. Riots resulting in hundreds of rapes and murders occurred most recently in 1998 (May 1998 riots of Indonesia - Wikipedia ), but such anti-Chinese racism has been backed by the legislation since the 1950s (Legislation on Chinese Indonesians - Wikipedia). Even though now there is no more legalized racism in Indonesia, the racism in the society has not disappear. So if you have an East Asian look, no matter your nationality, you will be subject to racism in Indonesia. Generally East Asians have light skin color, while the natives have dark skin color. There you go racism by skin color.It does not stop there.If you have a European look, then you would be subject to racism against European (see Bule - Wikipedia ). Most people of European descent in Indonesia find the term “bule” to be derogatory, although many native Indonesian do not find it offensive. It is a bit like the word Chink ( Chink - Wikipedia ), the one being called finds it offensive but the one using it is okay with it. Anyway, so if you are of European descent, then people will think that you are rich and sometimes charge you with a higher price (also if you do not leave a larger tip than the locals, then you might face resentment).All that being said, I am from Indonesia and I love the country (even though I experience racist sentiment due to having an East Asian look). I have lived in Australia and Germany, and have to admit that racism is less of an issue in Indonesia for me personally than in Australia and Germany. Just so that people do not have the wrong impression.
Is racism against whites now encouraged by official media sources?
Maybe the NYT is encouraging racism against white males in particular through their recent hire. However, the very influential, in liberal circles, “The Atlantic”, is encouraging racism against white people.“The Atlantic” defended the NYT and wrote about how it is perfectly acceptable to say grossly ugly, nasty, racist things about white people, especially white males.The Atlantic basically said it is something we should all get used to, as it is cathartic for people of color to publicly use vile and racist hate speech, if it is directed at white people.Link from The Atlantic: The Utility of White-BashingCandace Owen, a black woman, retweeted Sarah Jeong’s tweets. Sarah is an opinion writer for the NYT. Candace Owen simply swapped the word “white” for the word “black” in Sarah Jeong’s tweets. Ms Jeong was not banned, because according to liberalism (as voiced in The Atlantic), it is not only acceptable but cathartic for people of color to say the most vile and racist things about white people, and more so about white males.That is just the way liberals think these days and as we all know liberals dominate the “official media” and control the output of at a minimum, 75% of the official media, as well as the unofficial “social media”.Answer in bold: “The Atlantic” basically said in its article, and the NYT implied with its hire of Sarah Jeong: if you are white get used to being hated, and if you are a white male, you darn well deserve to be hated. I think we will see this spread to other “official media sources” after two such influential official media sources have tacitly endorsed racism against white people as cathartic for people of color.Divide and conquer? Is there any racism or discrimination against white people in China?
Yes. Some common stereotypes to white people:White people are lazy. Because of the depressed economies of Italy and Greece. Many Chinese people can’t understand why white people have so many holidays and enjoyments while require the economy to grow more quickly without hard works.White people are ugly. The old generations consider the white people ugly coz they seldom see foreigners and they think white skin and blond hair are manifestations of bad nutrition.White people are stupid. Because white people are not good at exams (especially math) compared with Chinese people. While they ingnore a fact that Chinese people are top investors on exams and basic education because we have been firmly believing that exams could give us better futures.White people are arrogant and all racists. Well…some are, but not all.White people smell bad. White people are half beasts and half humans because they have “developed” body hairs. White men are easily to be bald after middle-age and white women are easily to be senile.I myself am Chinese (I’m Han) with some “white features”. My skin is white like milk and my hair is brownish. Thus many people discriminated and bullied me when I was young. They called me “American asshole”. But now, they just wonder if my mom is a foreigner and I don’t give a shit.While in my opinion, these kinds of slight and harmless “discriminations” in China are so much better than those authentic discriminations involved with violence and extreme speeches in western world.
Am I seeing extreme racism from the left towards whites, from whites?
Are whites on the left oppressing you? Are they shooting up your Christian churches? Are they enforcing negative stereotypes about your intelligence and physical features? Are liberal police officers killing members of your community? Are leftist white judges enacting harsher sentences for you than for non-white offenders of the same crime? Are white people suddenly only portrayed as thugs and terrorists in pop culture? Are leftist whites following you around their store because they assume you'll steal? Did leftists elect officials promising to deport white conservatives or restrict immigration from Christian nations? Did liberal whites suddenly start reducing you to your exotic features? Are there rich black people displacing you and your community from your homes? Did while liberals lynch effigies of the first and last conservative white president? Do your politicians experience racism so absurd that people were convinced they weren't even born in this country? Do liberal politicians exploit and bomb the shit out of predominantly white nations? Do you get treated like a terrorist and thug and assaulted in the street because some people who look like you commit crimes?What's that? None of this is happening to you? Then congratulations, you aren't experiencing extreme racism from the left.
