My new emails won't load in my iPhone when I update my mailbox?
This is so frustrating!! I am having the exact same problem with my yahoo account! If any of y'all find a solution please let me know!!! Thanks I found a solution that at least worked for me. I hope it works for y'all too!!!:) 1) Login your Yahoo account from your computer 2) Create a folder named InboxTest and move *every* email sitting in your Inbox into this new folder. 3) Compose a new email from Yahoo and send it to yourself (the Yahoo account that isn't working) 4) Close your browser, do not check/read your Yahoo account from your computer 5) Go to your iPhone > Mail > Yahoo > Inbox and tap the refresh button 5a) There is a possibility that the email you sent yourself got diverted to your Bulk/Junk folder automatically so if you don't see anything check that folder 5b) You may need to reset your iPhone (hold home + sleep button) After you restart your iPhone, your InboxTest folder should show up, and your Inbox should be downloading new emails correctly. If your Inbox starts working again, do not open the InboxTest folder from your iPhone -- you will need to login from your computer again and go through the various emails in the InboxTest folder, one of them is corrupt or caused the issue to begin with... so delete any that you don't need
How do I recover my Gmail account when it does not open after password reset?
Thanks for A2A,"does not open after password reset", as in? Did you forget your new password which you've recently changed? If so, you'd have to again follow up the following steps to get it back:1. Goto Gmail, put your email id and click on forgot password (to the right-bottom side).2. You'd get a window with a text box which asks you to specify the last password you remembered. (if you remember any passwords from the time you've created your account, enter it and click on Continue. Else, click on I don't know).3. Enter an email address where they can contact you.If while signing up, you had specified an alternate email id, enter that (so they can contact you by sending the reset password mail over there)If no alternate email's were specified, enter the one you are able to access now (It can be of any account, which is solely yours and you are able to access it now).4. You'd then get a window to specify the last time you were able to login and when you had created your gmail account. You should be atleast having an approximate idea of when you had created the account, so enter the date accordingly. (month-day-year).5. Then enter 5 email id's whom you've mailed when you were able to login. If not, enter email id's of your gmail contacts, if you don't remember them, ask your friends to provide it to you. [if your account was new, click on skip these questions].6. If you've clicked on skip, it'll probably ask you to give details onto which apps you've used when you logged in( for instance; android, calendar, gmail and hangouts with their date and year).7. Once you're done with giving the information, click on submit and you'd get a RESET Password mail on your specified email id. From there you'd be able to reset your password.8. Open that mail and click on the link, it'll redirect you to change Password page where you'll be able to put new password and confirm that new password.9. This time, specify a password that is strong as well as the one that you can remember easily.

Why won't yahoo mail open? it was freezing yesterday, i switched to classic and now it errors at login?
Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Javascript to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. I have been advised to use this site to view my mail, www.mail2web.com if all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?script=no click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Strangers keep sending me emails with an attachment which contains a virus! Help!?
Likely these arent specific people, but someone (or multiple someones) using mirrors to route e-mails to you, so its not likely they can really be traced. I'd say your best bets are to always report the emails as spam, if your email server has a way to report a virus, do that, definately dont download the virus, and go on with life. if it really bothers you, get a new email address. unfortunately there's not alot you can really do about things being sent like that yet, at least not that I know of.
Can I send an email from a tablet?
Thank you Abbie, My android tablet refuses to open a yahoo email account and repeatedly redirects me to gmail. From the yahoo homepage, a tablet version of email appears which is largely frozen (inbox is captioned but can't be read, can't compose). I found yahoo's POP3 address at yahoo answers along with the server number and other details, but android keeps reporting that my user name or password are incorrect. Any ideas?
