Wussiness of modern society - excessive concern about safety, liability and risk.For one thing, the intercom is triggered by a metal detector, so that the server may not be listening. I knew of someone who triggered one by moving a garbage can over it. They got served, but were told not to do it again.It ought to be possible to just order at the window with the server. There’s a video online of someone getting drive-through with a dogsled.Personally, I was refused service at one in Washington DC. I thought that was idiotic, as the walk-in entrance was closed and there was no other food outlet open within walking distance, so basically I had nothing to eat till the next day. Typical US paranoia.

Anyway, it's a friendly country, there's no gun shot in city, very safe even in the night time, and there are many places without air problems. it must be a reason why many people loves it( of course not brain wash), even after they went to many other countries.

Why do you not test for nucleic acids in foods?
This most likely reason is that nucleic acids are present in all organic life, so all food would test positive (though this is true of proteins, too, though the amount of protein in a given food varies quite a bit). Also, most dyes that are used to view nucleic acid requires their being in the form of double-stranded DNA and the use of a fluorescence microscope. Most of these dyes are quite toxic/carcinogenic (they intercalate between DNA strands, which can cause errors during replication). There are other ways to detect specific sequences, but it seems to me that this'd be out of the scope of your class's lab.
