Why Cant I Cant Sleep

Im 15 and i cant sleep?

I would recommend to stay away from drugs as they do not give you very restful sleep. Make sure you are not ingesting any stimulants like coffee and remember sodas and chocolate can be a significant source of caffeine. Even coffee ice cream. Try not to do anything in your bed except sleep. By this I mean not to read in bed, don't watch TV in bed, don't use your computer in bed, etc.. Do not exercise or take a shower close to bedtime. Don't get too worried about not sleeping you will sleep eventually.I suffer with insomnia and have for years, when I wake up I get up and go back to bed when I am sleepy again. I don't fight it and kind of enjoy my all alone middle of the night time.

Why cant I sleep in minecraft?

today I experienced that I couldnt sleep at night in minecraft,is it because of my furnace and crafting table if I put them anywhere else I couldnt because there is barely enough room to go into my brother's basement, outside, or inside is it because of my organization of my bed, furnace, chest, and crafting table or is it just a glitch.

What should you do if you can't eat or sleep?

Here's my answer for SLEEP.Sleep, or lack of it, is critical in shaping up of your brain. There are numerous studies on importance of sleep. So, if you're getting too much of it or too less of it, then it's an ALARM!I myself have suffered lack of sleep for four years. I have had many sleepless nights and have stood awake for couple of nights multiple times. Over time, I have made peace with it. However, I have tried various things that genuinely have helped me to sleep:As mentioned already, you have to CLEAR your mind of any thoughts. This is best achieved by calming yourself by deep breaths and meditating. If you have hard time meditating, then listen "Yoga Nidra" - a set of instructions you follow while lying on bed.If You do not have intense physical work, then exercise yourself (jogging is best), which makes you tired and eases you to sleep.Read a book or watch a boring movie. This will strain your eyes slightly and make you fall asleep.Drink WARM milk 15 min prior to your 'sleeping' time. It has beneficial aspects too.I'm sure your aware, but do not drink tea/coffee atleast 4 hours before your sleep time. They affect your sleep badly.Lastly, though not advisable for super-health-conscious people, but definitely helps --- sleep immediately after you eat. Your mind is satisfied and less conscious to get lost in thoughts.A single or a combination of above points can do the trick for you. Most importantly, try keeping stress away during your sleep times and feel happy.

I'm tired and I really wanna sleep but I can't stop thinking about it . What can I do to fall sleep? And in the future ? Thanx for helping (:

How do I sleep when I'm tired but can't sleep?

I remember reading about one of the early Mercury or Apollo astronauts, who, long after returning to earth, faced a series of personal and health crises. He responded in an interview that he was afflicted by insomnia, and that the medicines prescribed to him gave him all sorts of difficulties, but that he eventually came across a mental technique which served him well.  I'd love to learn who the astronaut was, but his name is lost in the mist of my memory. As a teenager when I could not sleep one night, I attempted his technique and it was a slam-dunk success. Every other instance of insomnia I experienced in the next 30 years, whenever I trotted out this technique, it worked for me again. The instructions are as follows:1) Lie on your back in your bed in as neutral and flat a position as possible, with as many muscles relaxed as possible. 2) Close your eyes and breathe normally.3) Imagine a spot on the crown of your head, and concentrate on that spot. Keep your awareness on that spot, and either wait for that spot to feel like it is tingling, or force yourself to imagine that the spot is tingling.4) Once you perceive the small spot tingling, imagine moving the tingling around, growing it very slowly to a slightly larger radius. Make the tingling travel to the rest of your scalp, then onto your forehead, then around your ears, eyebrows, nose, cheeks etc. The area formerly occupied by the tingle should continue to tingle. As the movement and enlargement of the area under concentration grows, make sure that the musclues covered by the tingling area relax completely and totally. 5) Move and enlarge the area slowly, down the rest of the face, the neck, the shoulders and each arm one at a time, then the torso, etc. you should be expanding the swath of tingling by a small area of concentration, perhaps 3 cm by 3 cm at a go, and the growth of the tingling area should be very slow.6) At some point, you will lose concetration on the tingling and just fall asleep. Wake up at a much later time, refreshed and ready to go.I have never in my thirty years of trying this ever gotten past the belly button before I fell asleep, and I usually don't even get past the neck.I have no explanation for why it works, and no assurances that it will work for anyone else, but score one for astronaut advice in my books.

Need help... can't sleep?

To help sleep:
make sure room is dark, don't go to bed hungry or just after eating (a small snack 1 hour before bed is good). Don't read or watch tv in bed, because this stimulates your thinker and you want to try and relax.
If u can't sleep because of lots of thoughts about your day, stress etc, try writing down what is bothering you, or what you're going to do about it the next day, this can help you relax a bit more.
Warm milk (sounds silly I know) helps sleep, and there's a natural herb you can take, called Valerian root. It helps relax muscles and induce sleep (not really medication, just a natural supplement so is not addictive and doesn't make you feel groggy upon awakening) Or you can try burning some essential oils, like lavender or peppermint.
If you're not getting any exercise, try going for a nice walk or something. And of course limit caffeine and sugary drinks. There's some herbal teas around that can help you sleep too, available at the supermarkets. Hope this helps, can't really help with the insomnia thing because I don't know enough about it. Good luck zzzzzzzzzz.

Why can't a human sleep with his eyes open?

Even though there may be slow/rapid movement of the eyeballs during various stages of sleep, closing the eyes is a protective mechanism of the body just like the paralysis of muscles during sleep. The main reason that eyelids remain closed during sleep is to protect the eyes. Your eyes need protection from foreign objects (such as dust and small insects) and also from drying out.If your eyelids remained open during sleep, the protective layer of moisture that coats the eyeballs would evaporate. If this happened, your eyes would become very dry and irritated.Another reason why it's important to close your eyes during sleep is because your eyelids block out external stimuli, such as light, allowing your brain to shut down and reach a deeper sleep.A certain number of people naturally sleep with their eyes open or half open. This may be due to a number of reasons, including genetic factors, the influence of drugs and alcohol, or scarring on the eyeball. However, sleeping with open eyes can also be an indicator of more serious underlying conditions, such as nocturnal lagophthalmos (a sleeping disorder), muscle dystrophy, Bell's Palsy or Alzheimer's.
