If setting is in the off position, you will not get internet when you are not on wi-fi.
Why can't I connect to the internet on my Gateway NV5915h?
A kid was messing with my laptop and somehow disabled the wireless card and replaced my network connection with a dial-up connection. When I checked my Device Manager, I had a crapload of network adapters installed, and whenever I tried uninstalling them, they still showed up in the list. I used my phone to download the WLAN drivers from the Gateway website. I copied them to the laptop, installed them by searching for the driver software in the folder the drivers were in. The drivers installed correctly and now the wireless connections show up in the taskbar once again. The only problem is that I always get the error message "Windows cannot connect to this network" no matter what. What do I do?
Why cant i use internet on my phone (blackberry)?
I have a blackberry curve smartphone that has 3G unlimited,and whenever i try to use the internet it says :"There is insufficient network coverage to process your request please try again later" It does work if i connect to my HOME router,though.Its been doing this since i tried to connect to my city free wifi (i like using using Wifi networks to get a better connection)My dad says my phone has unlimited internet and i should be able to use it ANYWHERE.Anyone knows how to fix this? Oh and i have 5 bars right now and the Mobile network is on,still not working unless i connect to my Home router. It usually works without a router,or anything.I dont need wifi connection to use the internet so why cant i use it now?

When my phone connects to WiFi I can't use my VPN. But when I use a 4G network, my VPN can be connected. Why is that?
Many Wi-Fi routers can’t forward GRE packets and it is required by PPTP. 4G network has no problem with GRE. So check what protocol you are using. If its PPTP, this may be the case. Try switching the protocol to something like IKEv2, IPSecure or L2TP/IPSecure.
My phone automatically connects to internet,how can I turn it off.?
Hi,please help me with this,my mobile 'Nokia E52' connects to the internet by itself, I don`t know why,and for what. On my screen where is written 3G under it shows something like this = , it means my phone is connected to the internet, and when I open Connection manager>active data connections> I can see that my mobile send some like 320b something. Please tell me how I can turn it of. P.S. I don`t have an app that uses internet , I have deleted it,so thay cant be matter.

i cant reach almost all the porn sites with videos on my phone and computer. tried a variety of browsers still websites like pornhub or xhamster wont load. not even a text version of the website. tried reseting the cookies and such what should i do?
