No. Origin is EA's answer to pirating games. By making games only obtainable online, from their servers, they've made it more difficult to steal. Additionally, Origin can probably detect if a game isn't a legitimate copy purchased from a retailer or online, so it can easily prevent the problem further. Online-only is one of the most brutal form of DRM (Digital Rights Management). Personally I feel that this is wrong because it represents a lack of trust between EA and its customers and the current state of the pirating situation in society today. It means that games are less accessible and more of a hassle to play, but it's the decision they've made. The only current solution for you as of now is to retry the download process until the game is fully downloaded. Make sure you've got a speedy internet connection. Also do what you can to confirm that there aren't any viruses on your PC, as they can slow a download down to a halt, preventing you from playing your game. If you need an anti-virus software, I recommend AVG or Microsoft Security Essentials, but there are many more you could use as well. I haven't personally found any solutions to the problem, but I've experienced it before and after a few tries, it did eventually work. Good luck!

Arkham Origins for the Xbox 360 is backwards compatible for the Xbox One. However, you need a physical disc to play the game. You cannot buy the game on the Xbox Marketplace for the Xbox One.Why? Who knows? Only a few games are currently like that, needing the disc, and they will likely never issue a remastered Arkham Origins, due to the mixed reception of the game.

Hi all, have recently rented dragon age origins. and it just won't let me play it. the disc is clean and my ps3 is fine. basically what it does is, whilst installing it freezes at 10% then a few minutes later jumps to 100% then won't proceed from here. has anyone else ever encountered this, or know how to fix, it is really frustrating me, dunno why, i wasn't that enthusiastic about dragon age coming in the post but now its here it annoys me i cant play it lol please help thanks!

Dragon Age: Origins - Error 0x7E - Can't Launch Game?
I installed DAO today as it is free on Origin. When I went to play it for the first time, first it showed an error message saying, "The program cant start because PhysXLoader.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." (I tried to download that and it said I had a newer version so did not download) Then, when I close that system error message, an EA Error message comes up that says, "Invalid license. Reason code = Missing DLL: [NxCharacter.dll] Error: 0x7E." WTF is wrong with my game and how do I fix it? (It is not in my quarantine folder)
