Sometimes Instagram’s new algorithm is funny. You have to engage back and forth for IG to know that you both want to see each others content.Sometimes I scroll though my feed and see a post of someone that I forgot about. I can't see any of my boyfriend's facebook posts?
I can only see ones I' have personally made on his wall or general updates.General updates include changing of profile picture, mutual good friends added (way past), and changing of cover photos. I can't see barely anything on his about section either. I have looked at his privacy settings personally and looked at his "View as" page with my name on it, and still it comes up the same. I am not blocked from seeing his profile in any way, there is no one that is blocked on his friends list from seeing his posts. How do I fix this? Facebook won't help me, I've asked thrice and have gotten automated responses.....
Can you post an image on Instagram and not let certain people see it?
I know that it is a feature and option so many of us need and want but that is so disappointing to tell yo that there is still NO WAY you can hide your posts or designate certain people not to see it.Such a feature is only available for our stories in which we can hide the accounts we do not want them to see our story or we can also create a list of the people who are close to us and just share our stories with them.We all hope that we are going to have such a feature for our posts as well as soon as possible.

It's some new thing Facebook thought we'd like better. Not. On a phone open the menu on the top right & click on Recent (posts.) You will find what you're looking for there. I had the same issue you do. The only thing is in that feed you can't seem to comment on posts like you can from your regular news feed. You can also look at the menu under the bell & find posts of pages you liked there as well.
