How is the HIV virus created?
No, it isn't like a potion or a recipe that 'creates' the virus. The virus has existed for decades (they still aren't 100% sure how it originated, they assume it had something to do with Monkeys.. but know for sure it originated in Africa, as did Ebola). The only possible way to get the virus is to have a already HIV positive person get their blood/semen/vaginal fluids/breast milk inside your body by going directly into your bloodstream or through your mucosal membranes (eyes, vaginal walls, anus, penis, nose, ear, or mouth *though it is extremely rare to get HIV through the mouth cause saliva naturally has HIV disabling properties*)

Were the AIDS and EBOLA viruses both created in a laboratory because NOBODY really knows either's origin?
No these viruses were not created in labs not to say a government wouldn't do it quite the opposite actually if any government could harness that kind of bio-weapon they most certainly would. But the fact is we are a long way technologically from being able to produce a virus as complex as HIV in a lab and the virus is not specific to humans it can also be found in cats in a similar form. As far as Ebola goes it would be easier to produce in a lab because it is a simpler virus however we still lack that technology to engineer something like that you are talking about creating life because viruses are alive. Not only that but it would be foolish and reckless to create such a virus with no cure and no way to control it and I assure you at least the US government doesn't have a cure or they wouldn't spend millions upon millions of dollars at USAMRIID to try to find a cure or vaccine for it. You can find all kinds of conspiracy theories on the web just remember anybody can post anything on the net it doesn't make it true and common sense will usually debunk it after all its after May 21 2011 and we are all still here right lol.

In 1960, Belgium gave the independence to the Congo, a colony it had for nearly a century. In 1965, I heard a conference where we were explained how we, the Belgians, plundred Congo for its natural resources, diamonds, copper, rubber plants, cacao, etc. By doing so, we created slums for mine workers in the ebb of which came something unknown to central Africa: prostitution. In 1984, I read that the HIV/AIDS virus spread from central Africa. What was the trigger that spread an otherwise seldom SIV virus to humans HIV? Could it be the introduction of prostitution by the mining conditions forced by the Belgians? I don't know anything about Ebola other than, it has existed for centuries and if it is spreading now, it must be because our modern way of living: not the African one but our intensive intercontinental travelling.
Definitely not. Apart from anything else, the French and the Americans were both working on HIV, but each one did not know about the other. Also, as Peter says, HIV has very close relatives in other species, and we know that zoonoses happen where humans have close contact with, for example, chimpanzees. It probably entered the human population through the gathering of bush meat.
To point something out: asthma and AIDS are probably the most researched diseases besides cancer, and cures for all of them are almost a certainty in the next 50 years. The question then becomes one of why God created diseases. If we look at the bible, it says he did so to punish man. Now the bible is a book written when man was just discovering that blood, not air, went through veins, so they lacked the knowledge of internal organs, their functions, and all that. If we look at it from the perspective of God-guided evolution, one can argue that diseases were an obstacle that man needed to understand himself.

All 3 of the infected Americans who were brought back to the US for treatment and have since recovered are Caucasian or white, Canis. Maybe that answers your question. Thomas Duncan, the man who died, was African. The two nurses who treated him and are infected now are Caucasian and Asian American, respectively. And the nurse in Spain is also Caucasian.
