Why cant I download files from rapidgator?
Every time I enter the captcha my browser keeps working on and on and on and then suddenly every time I get an error (requested URL could not be retrieved) and I realised that this problem is occuring only with rapidgator and not with any other filehosts. I use latest versions of Chrome and Firefox and I used to download from rapidgator before but now I cant.
Why are all the zip files I downloaded from rapidgator corrupted and cannot be extracted by winzip?
These is no cause attribuible to rapidgator, winzip or winrar for corruption of ZIP files while downloading. Winzip's option using a more recent algorithm which has a "better" compression rate has the ZIPX extension so it's not a version incompatibility issue. I find curious that you tried to download two different files and both were compressed using ZIP. For some reason, uploaders prefer the RAR format. By any chance, are both files from the same uploader? That would explain partially the issue. The Zip compressor (not necessarily winzip) used by this particular uploader might be corrupt, as simply as that. My second guess is that for some reason both files have malware issues and your antivirus aborted the download when sensed it while scanning the process. I use Avast and sometimes it is not notifying me with an alert when this happens Many "patched" files are sensed by antivirus as malware; sometimes they are, sometimes are not but don't trust blindly that they are not! Should be this the case, a way to download those files is stopping your antivirus while downloading, Put your downloaded file in a folder and recompress it using encription, BUT DON'T RUN IT. Then restart your antivirus and check the downloaded ZIP file. This should confirm you if the problem is because of your antivirus and if you are getting an uncorrupted download this way. .Downloading a compressed file which might give you a malware alert from an antivirus will not endanger your computer while you don't open the compressed file! Of course, if you get a malware alert from your antivirus DON'T run your file. Don't trust hackers who say that these alerts are "false positives"
Is there any way to download deleted files from rapidshare?
Since the file is deleted from the rapidshare server you cannot download the deleted file. But you can get the file on some other website.
Can I delete the ISO file after installing Ubuntu in VirtualBox on a Mac?
ISO file in VM is same as having a Physical CD when installing OS on Physical machine. So yes, just as how you can lose the CD, you can delete the ISO. However, just as how you may need the CD to boot into the machine to repair and/or go into the system will all disk unmounted, you may want to keep ISO so if need be you can power into your VM via CD/ISO to do some repairs to disks. And again, you can also download it later if required.

Yes it is true. I and several of my non-German colleagues have been fined. Each movie downloaded through torrent costs them 813 EUR. I didn't pay. I hired a lawyer to troll the company who sent me the warning. First my lawyer asked if they could forgive me just this time. They said no. Then my lawyer asked can i pay less. They offered another, lesser, fine. My lawyer offered something else. They refused. My lawyer wrote a letter to plead. They offered something else, etc. Anyway I told my lawyer to never agree to anything and just keep the bargaining up. It's been 2 years now and he hasn't heard from them since the last letter. I guess they gave up. They basically need to prove that you downloaded the movie and not someone else who got your wifi's password, which is a tall order. They send these fines around and hope the people being fined would be scared and pay right away. One colleague of mine got the letter and ignored it and they haven't contacted him since.After we got the letter we all started using VPN though.

There is an option known as 'Share' in Google drive, which creates a download link for a file or a folder you selected. The download speed is good enough. You don't need to complicate stuff by making torrent files off your Drive files.

You cannot download a file on iOS like you do on a computer or on android. But say you open a zip file from mail when you tap download, it will ask which app you want to transfer to. Select the app and the doc will move there. Cancel and its gone. IOS 11 has a files app on iPad so things maybe now a bit easier and more closer to computers. Lets see that in times to come.

I am a Jio user and have been facing many problems to access not only torrent websites but also some of the official government websites.Jio has blocked Not only torrent websites but also many Movie Downloading Websites in recent times. I have tried accessing some torrent websites and I found most of them are unaccessable, few are been able to browse but there is a catch. I used utorrent app to download the movies present on ‘accessable torrent websites’. 99% of the movies is giving a 0 KBPS speed. In fact, it meant, that movies are not downloadable.I tried to download the same movie on the same torrent website with the same utorrent app with other network service provider like vodafone and airtel, now the movie files started downloading according to its network speed and was successfully completed.No doubt Jio has blocked those websites. I don’t know why they had to do that. I did contact with Jio Customer Representatives and they gave me a diplomatic answer. They said “we don’t see any problem on your sim..”Using Jio I used to download movies from the best site by searching the movies file name on google. It was working fine back then but the scene got different now. The page shows,Not only these I am also facing problem accessing some pages on Government’s official websites.Jio’s network connection is not as secure as Vodafone and Airtel. Lets see if jio is working on it. All we can do is to shift to other network or wait till it is fixed.
