Why does every guy brag about how much money they have ?
Every guy I met when I turn them down on dates or show lack of interest they feel the need to mention how much money they have in front of me ? Why do they do this ? " Doesn't matter if you don't want to date me because there are many things I can have" - lawyer I hired who kept hitting on me to help me get a minor charge dropped. I paid the retainer fee in full and he acts like he did me a favor. " You are a broke B****" " - guy I dumped by contacting his girlfriend online. Turns out he was seeing both of us at the same time for about 1.5 years " I got Mercedes, boat and a condo" - some real estate that wanted to date me " I bought you dinner. You don't have to be so mean" - a guy I did not want to go on a 2nd date with when I did not reply back to his texts " My boss paid for you" - when I dumped a female friend for being to slutty and dishonest. She invited me along on a weekend casino trip and along with her boss introduced me to a married man hoping I would hookup with him . Why do all these people feel the need to mention money in front of me ? Am I just meeting the wrong types of people who just happen to be jerks ?
Why does he brag about money all the time?
I have a guy friend who can be very nice and fun to talk to... but there's one thing he does that drives me NUTS. He brags about all his money... and talks about it all the time... telling me exactly how much he has. Today I was talking to him and he goes, "Yeah I might be getting a job if my boss gets a promotion... 70K low end"... I don't see the point in him bragging to me... it's a daily thing. Is it me or is this rude?
Why does my boss brag that he doesn't have a lot of money?
A lot of employees have the wrong mentality when it comes to work. There are instances when the employees do make more money than the boss. It could be many reasons and the employees curse the boss in their ignorance if the boss buys a new car or something apparently new.If the boss is paying you to do a job then do your job and in doing your job diligently the boss can make a profit. Nothing is as stupid as a lazy employee that doesn't contribute their share for the boss. It is like a guy drilling a hole in the bottom of the boat he is in.Had these guys working for me doing venetian plaster years ago. They were to preoccupied with counting my money. To the point they thought was holding them back and had a conversation with them one day.Look make no mistake just because you know the work doesn't mean you will find customers to pay you for it. Being in this decorative field in NYC area the customers are hard pressed to give the big bucks to people that can't speak good English. Of course we had a big fight and all three of them left.They had no jobs! The only job they got was from one of my customers. They still had to suck off of me even after they left. This is the ignorant mentality.Soon after had met a painter that makes about 2.00 a square foot painting. Offered him 10.00 a square foot to sub contract my Venetian plaster jobs which is two times the labor of painting and my end was 10.00 a square foot out of the 20.00. This numb skull kept focusing on my money. He literally said "you are going to be making money on me". Being besides myself had to inform this sharp mathematician that he would be getting 5 times what he makes now with only double the amount of work. This guy needs to think bigger than himself. Why do so many guys like to brag about money?
I have never represented the ‘material girls’ & ‘material dudes.’ Nevertheless, here’s my take on it… Worth, Not Words Real men and real men (of character) who really ‘have it’ don’t need to brag. And they don’t need to brag about money. Instead, ‘real men’ often make acquaintances; talk business etc (as opposed to taking ‘cheap shots that look expensive.’) Sometimes instead of ‘talk’, maybe they might be hospitable and take you on a tour (a more subtle, refined way of flaunting) to show you their earthly glories/ spoils/ pirate’s booty/ properties/ toys (to friends, acquaintances - and maybe, worthy enemies too.) Male Initiation Ceremony Male friends who know each other well don’t need to brag about wealth. Even if they do, it is not about intimidation. But, when a male ‘talks big’ to intimidate, it is usually aimed at a ‘newcomer’, outside his ‘inner circle.’ Call it whatever you like – insecurity, or primitive instinct/ ritual etc. There was an old advert tagline that went some thing like ‘if you flaunt it, you obviously haven’t got it.’ That tag line was for a women’s luxury goods ad. But ironically, it applies so much to men as well (the flaunting need not necessarily be about wealth; for it is more often done to cover up for a lack of something else, such as character.)
What do you call someone that does not brag or like to brag .?

Why do people brag about being rich????
why do they allways say im rich and i can buy everything i want or they pretent to be rich im not that rich im middle ones and i dont pretend being rich or make fun of poor i have a friend that says the price of everything she bought and she says (for example) im gone a buy a new ipod i allready have 3 and she says how many do u have and i said 1 mp3 but my dadys gone a buy me one later but i dont brag about stuff like that and i think she is not rich bcuz she wears the same clothes over and over and she dropped her pencil and me and my friend saw he underwear being ripped!
Does it mean anything when your ex brags about his new sexual relations?
He obv. still likes you, and wants to get a reaction out of you so that he can feel better about himself, and perhaps make you feel bad about not "giving it up." Don't worry about it, he's just looking for an ego booster and the bragging will stop soon enough, especially if you seem just fine with your own life and don't offer him any reaction at all :)
