Why Did He Call My Name To Say Hi

Why did he call my name out loud ?

Okay this might sound confusing but this is what I dont get. I met this pretty cool boy from my school over Facebook. He's a friend of a friend. I was walking up the stairs to class he was walking on the other side . He saw me and called my name out loud I then looked and waved quickly .Why couldn't he just say " Hi samantha" but as I waved he was standing and I didn't notice him wave back or say hi .

Why does a girl always call me by my name?

Everytime I say hey to her or she says hi to me she always uses my name. At first I thought she might just do it to everyone but she mainly only does it to me. Is there a reason why she always calls me by my name?

What does it mean when he calls just to say hi?

Hold on, let me consult my mind reading book.*Flips pages of an empty book*Expecting someone on Quora to tell you what this guy is thinking, is like asking us to read the mind of a waffle iron. We can all make a guess and say that the waffle iron is thinking , “WAFFLES, WAFFLES, I <3 WAFFLES!!! Waffles!”But we don't really know that, unless we ask the waffle iron, and when we reach that point we are talking to an inanimate object and running dangerously close to insanity since we are expecting it to respond with an answer. Now, I'm assuming this man isn't a waffle iron and will answer you, so ask him.

Does it mean anything when a guy calls me by my name?

As a guy who crushes on girls easily, I have learned that there are certain instinctual things that happen in a guys mind... for instance, if a guy really likes a girl, his personality will shift towards hers. In other words, he will abandon more 'male driven' personality traits and adopt similar traits from the girl. He will speak softer, make eye contact alot, initiate friendly conversation, and generally treat her as if she already has some sort of connection with him. This allows her to ease into a comfortable state around him.
Simply put, yes, he likes you. He uses your name alot, which alerts you that his attention is solely on you and no other. Also, look for other telltale signs... does his shoulders face you when you are speaking? when he crosses his legs while sitting next to you, does his foot croos next to you, or away? Will he halt a conversation with his guy friends to listen to what you have to say?
Besides, he stares at you alot. This alone tells you he has a serious crush. The next move is yours...

What does it mean when a guy says your name a lot?

He say's your name because its a label the beholder needs to protect and give good meaning to. He say's it alot to keep you around. He seeks to use said trait about you to shape you to something of his favor and as a medium to invest in you. Whatever trait it is, it keeps him attached. Control can be used for altruistic or exploitative purposes. (what a monster if he does it to exploit. Since this isn't a feminist forum, something does not mean vengeful and harmful). Think of it as more like a teacher/learner relationship. You are lost in what he is trying to show you, and he has all of the directions to get you there.  Let him show you what he wants; it will be largely rewarding if you follow his lead.

Why does this boy at school call me by my middle name (m’kayla)? I often just don’t reply and look at him like he is crazy but it agitates me every time because he is always like “hi m’kayla”.

The boy most likely has a crush on you and may be using that name as a way to be different and stand out so you notice him.My daughter’s name is Kayla Mackenzie. She goes by Kayla. Her wedsite is KMAC.Her mom chose Kayla as it is her first and middle names, LAurie KAY and I chose Mackenzie. Only I call her Mackenzie. It’s a name I have always liked and found it to be unusual.Anyway, to the point, I wrote this earlier as a response to a different question.Briefly, through out school I used a different name every year. I thought using the same name year after year was boring. I used David, Dave, Davey, Martin, Marty, Mart. An interesting fact was the name I use the least today Martin I found to be a very strong and powerful name. I then found out the history of the name was Roman god of Mars, the god of War.From my sophomore year to today I have gone by David meaning, beloved. I relate a majority of my generosity, curiosity, understanding, humbleness, and authority, through this name.Shakespeare wrote, A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.Ask him why he calls you by that name.He found it out somehow.Besides that he may turn out to be a good friend, maybe not a best friend. Maybe a guy friend that one day you might need his view point on something.

Why does my crush say my name so much?

Saying a person’s name in conversation is a sales technique that is geared toward helping close the sale. People like hearing their name and, they pay attention when their name is spoken. So, when somebody is saying your name, they want it to appear as though they are your friend and hence, you’ll buy whatever it is they are selling.

The guy I have strong feelings for never calls me by my name. Not in my presence at least. Not in texts either. He calls everybody else by their names. What does this mean? Does he dislike me? We are at fine terms right now.

You know he may be shy with you and could really like you.I am surprised he is texting you …yet won’t call you by your name.Find out what things he likes to do and see if you have some activities in common. Try to get him to open up on what he and you like. That is a great way to break the ice romantically.Good luckMike
