Why Did I Fall In Love In My Dream

Why did I fall in love with a boy I never met in my dreams?

Because he was so dreamy

What does it mean to fall in love in a dream?

I recently had a dream that showed me how strong young love was. I fell in love with a young beautiful girl and In the dream, I was never more sure about anything. Then we ran away to another state together and that’s all I remember. But the tricky thing here is that, I have deep seeded problems with love. (Along with severe trouble empathizing) And I don’t believe I’ve ever felt it before. Not have I cared for it whatsoever. But in this dream, i 100% did care. So it tripped me out and made me finally feel something I’ve never felt before. And honestly, for the next 5 or so days, I chased that high. That sureness of running away with this mystery little dream girl.

Falling in love in a dream?

Regarding dreams, Dr. Allan Hobson of Harvard Medical School said: “They are ambiguous stimuli which can be interpreted in any way a therapist is predisposed to. But their meaning is in the eye of the beholder—not in the dream itself.”

Dr. Hobson was saying that emphasis should not be placed on interpreting dreams because even psychologists interpret them differently. For example, one person can say that your dreams mean you are wanting to be in a committed relationship, another person can say that you are unsatisfied with your life, and a third person can say that you have a fear of intimacy. THESE ARE JUST EXAMPLES I MADE UP FROM THE TOP OF MY HEAD to show how different professionals can interpret dreams differently. Don't let someone else make sense of something you are dreaming about. Only you and God really know how you are, so it's best to deal with yourself and make decisions based on knowledge of yourself while you are conscious, not based on some movie you are forced to sit through every night. (Matthew 10:30) I remember having a dream that I was pregnant and giving birth. I don't place a lot of emphasis on my dreams, but if I would have told someone they would have probably said that the reason for the dream is that I want to have children. Such a person would not know how wrong they are. I don't even like dealing with other people's kids, and I loath the thought of having my own (I believe it's called being a childfree person). But if I would have listened to such advice and went out and got pregnant, I would be so absolutely miserable since that is not what I want for myself ever.

Research has been done to show that dreams (even the recurring ones) keep our brains healthy in some way, perhaps by categorizing and storing stimuli that we have taken in. You don't have much control over what appears in your dreams or how it appears. However, if you don't want to have nightmares, then you shouldn't watch horror movies or play scary or violent video games or anything like that since that stimuli can appear in your dreams. Even scary sounds can appear in your dreams. Other than that, just enjoy the show!

Personally, ever since I started filling my mind with positive stimuli by reading a chapter of the Bible each night right before going to sleep and meditating on what it says, my dreams have been much more pleasant.

I fell in love with a girl in my dreams?

my dream is really blurry now but ill try my best to describe it

it was the utmost strangest dream i have ever had for the main reason that it felt like it lasted for DAYS when in fact i was asleep for only 6 hours.

my parents told me they were going to adopt a girl of my age because i always wanted a sister as old as me. when she arrived home we went to the living room which was dimly lit and was totally empty expect for a box and we sat there and talked. i don't remember how long or what it was about but we talked. then i remember parts of the dream where we are walking and talking by the park, by a bridge and then the last memory of the dream was when we were in my room. i was wearing my skinny jeans and loafers and i had no shirt on, and she was wearing an over sized blouse that was unbuttoned and she wasn't wearing a bra and she had daisy duke shorts on. that description is important because its the outfit i imagine my dream girl wearing if im ever day dreaming (without the nakedness of course, im not that horny). well yeah and we were listening to some music i dont remember what but it was music and i remember liking it. then we kissed and it was like i never dreamed before. i fealt, smelled, heard everything and i tasted her lips. it was so real i want to say its more real than reality. after that i go to my parents and tell them i dont want her to be my sister and they agree, strangely. then we're back to the bridge and this time the lighting is different...like everything was blue, then it gets cold and then i wake up.

ive been depressed ever since the dream because i long to be in it again...even live in it

in my life ive made a lot of hard choices, bad mistakes, mostly with my future, education and the girls i loved.

i even find myself not liking the girls i had crushes on anymore, because the girl in my dreams is too perfect. today at school whenever i looked at a girl i looked at her in a way that i would never do, i judged her according to how the girl in my dreams was, and i hate being judgmental.

im confused about what this dream means but im even more confused about how i should deal with the awakening from the dream. i dont think i can look at women ever again, because i wont meet the dream girl because no one is perfect.

any Freudian psychologists help me out here? or anyone at least

I fell in love with someone from my dream?

I had this dream last night and i met this person who was just perfect in every way, we clicked well and i fell in love. It felt so real, the feelings both physical and emotional. when i woke up all i wanted to do was fall asleep again and keep dreaming but i couldn't, what does my dream mean? It's been stuck in my head all day, and im kind of sad that it did end. I know im not desprate for a relationship since im working things out with someone currently but i felt much stronger for the person in my dream than the person in real life. Have you ever had a dream like this? i know this will be weird to ask but is it possible to have this dream again?

Meaning of/how & why do you fall in love with a stranger in a dream?

People “made up” in your dreams are not actually made up. But our brain takes models of people we've seen in real life and mashes them together into one dream. It's pretty amazing. But falling in love with a stranger just might mean you will meet with that very person at a later time. It might not happen, but it is a good sign that you will meet them, perhaps even recreate what happened in your dreams. Here is my story of what happened in my dream just last night. (I was so anxious to find a question on Quora that I could put this).A family of five including a mother, father, little girl, little boy, and a teenage girl my age showed up at our door offering to put up a fence in our front yard for free. As they were putting up the fence, I guess I was changing my clothes with the curtains open facing to the backyard. By surprise, they walked into the backyard and I was seen naked by the whole entire family, I was extremely embarrassed. After that, they surprised us by also putting up a fence in our backyard which my mom thought was really nice of them. When they finished putting up the fence, the mother and father asked my mom if the kids could stay at our place for a while, while they went out to eat and go shopping. When they entered our house, I quickly started cleaning up my messy room and putting dirty dishes away. The little kids entered my room and started playing with my stuff, along with a dirty spoon and bowl on my bed. I had to make the kids leave my room. After a while, I walked into the front room to see the teen girl laying on the sofa taking a nap. Now this girl, she was extremely hot. Blonde, blue eyes, nice and fit, just beautiful. I respectfully walked away when I heard her say "Josh, come here." I came to her asking "what's up?" then she was like "you don't want to do it?". I was confused. She then proceeded to pull me down to her face level and she started to make out with me. We made out for a while, lip biting and everything, then she pulled her left breast out of her shirt asking me to suck on it. Right when she did that, my dad entered the room and was like "what are you guys doing?". We were like "nothing, we're just talking." But curiously, I remember she made no effort to pull her breast back into her shirt when my dad came in. That is how the dream ended. I wish my dad hadn't of walked in on that dream lol! Would have loved to experienced what happened next hadn't my nosy damn father come in the room.

What does it mean when you dream of falling in love with a person of the same sex?

Hi hun,

There is nothing wrong with this a subconscious thought, or maybe you had seen something in the day that didnt really connect and it appeared in your dream.....I believe we have two levels of dreaming one that is conected to everyday life and thought pattern, and the other a more spiritual dream pattern... It doest mean your wanting this to happen even though your probably thinking more about it now than you did, Ive had dreams like this before and i told my b/friend poor man didnt no what to think and went and got a dream book. The only thing it said was i may have been trying to bring someone back to life by giving them the kiss of life!!!!! ok but i can assure you i wasnt

I think its life and the things we pick up on, dont worry go with the flow.... T
