Is it normal to have constipation after diarrhea?
Yes normal, you get dehydrated form the runs and then your body hoards fluid after. One of lifes bummers. Do try to drink as much water as you can when you have the runs and after. It helps a lot.

People can have severe abdominal pain from intestinal clogs caused by bezors which combine hair and compacted food to slow passage of fecal material.Some people are obsessed with having a daily movement and believe that they will become toxic if they do do move their bowels daily, but kidney and liver function if healthy, takes care of many issues continuously and daily defecation is unnecessary. Some folks cause fluid and electrolyte imbalances through excessive laxative use.Few people die of constipation if it is not a sign of an obstructive tumor or dead bowel, so I would have to say diarrhea.

Diarrhea most definitely. Heck even if the question was diarrhea or regular turds I'd probably still choose diarrhea. EDIT: just for shits and giggles (pun very much intended) ill give you my reasoning. 1)Yes diarrhea may hurt before you sit down on the toilet but the the sensation of releasing it is much more satisfying than that of a regular **** or constipation. 2) in some ways, diarrhea is easier to wipe in a way because its mainly liquid and although it gets all over the place it's easier to wipe away as oppose to solid crap that could smear as you wipe. Even more so if you had one of those cigar cutter moments, those can lead to a significant waste of toilet paper to the point where I rather just jump in the shower than smear my crap back and forth until its clean. Think of it this way, would you rather wipe water off a counter top or peanut butter? Most likely water I assume. In this case, it's shitty water but you get the idea. 3) Diarrhea sounds funnier coming out. 4) turd splashes usually don't occur with diarrhea 5) diarrhea smells better, or worse depending on your taste in fecal smells. 6) constipation causes prolonged suffering. You could be on the John for 15 minutes before one little goat dropping leaves your ***. Diarrhea is generally quicker to release. There you go, I went above and beyond your expectations. What do I feed a dog who is sick with diarrhea/constipation?
My dog, Nala, which is a chihuahua/shitzhu mix is having bowel problems. She had loose bowels and ran off in the house and in her kennel, and she never poops inside at all. Later she tried to go poop and she acted as if she were consitpated. She woke me up like 3am to go poop outside. She tried to go but nothing came out. She was straining and still nothing. She has been eating regularly though. How can it be possible to have a moment of diarrhea then constipation. How can I fix this?? Help!

It's a little embarrassing but I have to know. So for the past two or three days, I have been constipated. It wasn't severe, I was just having some trouble getting it out. Now, just a little while ago, I sat on the throne and diarrhea came out. I have been drinking water/juice today. I'm just wondering if this is normal or if I should contact a doctor or sumthin'.

After meal, small intestine absorbs fluid and nutrient from the food. The colon absorbs the remaining fluid from digested food particles to make semisolid stools. Anything that disrupts this process may cause diarrhea. When you are constipated, the stool becomes harder because it stays in the colon for long time. More water is absorbed by body and there will be no water in the colon to make softer stools. That’s why the stools become harder and difficult to flush out. So normally you have diarrhea after constipated. Generally constipation and diarrhea are temporary conditions, if you are suffering from constipation more than a week better to consult your doctor.
